Celebrated with pancakes this morning. We've got the start of quite a lot of TAR over the next few months.

We start with some shots of Winnipeg, Manitoba. Jon introduces us from the roof of a building.

Forks Historical site is the start line location.

Now team intros. First Allie and Eddie, followed by the wrestlers, youtubers, Deven/Amanda, drag queens, ty kat. No other teams introduced.

Teams are making their way to the SL via trolley.

Jon welcomes teams to Winterpeg, Winnipeg.

He asks Tyler and Kathleen why they are racing, and they are now given their intro.

Next Joel/Shayla, then Ben/Anwar, they say if they find love they won't mind 

Gracie/Lily next

Jon introduces the new twist: Desjardins Assist, each team has a one time helping hand in a task. Clues are on the other side of the red river.

Jon mentions the prizes.

And we are off!

Clue: Make your way to the Winnipeg Art Gallery, the Inuit gallery to be specific.

Teams are on foot making their way to the gallery, and then looking for taxis

Ty and Kat in first and already in  a cab

Jermaine: This race teaches you how out of shape you are.

Qaumajuq Visible vault is the location.

Task: Choose a title of art and find the artwork among 5,000 pieces of art

Ty Kat are first. Siblings are second

Youtubers hope into a taxi.

Deven and Amanda are third to the museum

Ty and Kat get it correct and get their clue!

Clue: Fly to Calgary, Alberta, once there search outside the terminal for your next clue.

Teams have to go to the Fast Jet terminal and sign up for one of two flights, each with five teams, arriving 15 mins a part.

Siblings get their clue next.

Drag queens  walked the entire way, Lilly/Gracie at the museum now.

Ty Kathleen get their clue fourth, followed by the wrestlers. Youtubers are sixth. Gracie Lille seventh.

Tyler and Kathleen are struggling to find a cab.

Youtubers are the fifth team on the first flight.

Looks like they used private Air Canada flights

RB: Who has Book Smarts?

Rappel library, find three words on yellow flags, and relay message to "international woman of mystery"

Express Pass:Search section of library to find 3 express passes.

Youtubers, Ty Kat, and Siblings are looking for the express passes.

Gisele is the first to the RB

Ty and Kat get the express passes!

Omg! Gisele did not read the clue, she looked for words on the buildings surrounding the rappel, not the flags on the building she was going down.

Allie is second to try the RB

We are back!

The other two teams are still searching for the express passes because they do not know Ty and Kat found them lol.

Allie finishes the rb and gets it correct! followed shortly by Kat

Clue: Make your way to the Devenish Building, say a code to access the Betty Louis Library (the code word from the RB), where they must use their Samsung phones to snap a picture of their clue using some feature.

Flight 2 teams arrived

Youtube, followed by Deven / Amanda finish the rb. Amanda did the rb.

Ben and Shyla now doin the Rb for their teams.

Shayla. and Ben easily get their clues.

Next Clue:

Detour: Batter or Beat

Batter: Take six orders of pancakes, cook and serve them with the correct toppings. Guests will be switching tables!
Beat: Learn drum routine and stay in sync with partner: Olympic Plaza is where this took place

We are back and Gisele realizes what to look for after watching another team and calls herself an idiot

Gracie/Lilly finish in seventh at the RB

Tyler now doing the rb, and finishes in 8th

Justin: How many drag queens have done this? Jermaine: DO YOUR THING 

Gisele finishes finally and is in 9th

Allie and Eddie get a check at the batter detour and are wrong.

Clue: Make your way to the Pitstop, the Peace Bridge

Youtube on their fourth attempt (the first 3 weren't shown) at beat. And they get their clue! They are in third place overall

They win a trip to Berlin Germany courtesy of Expedia. They do not mention the $5k prize from Samsung.

Gracie and Lillie are second at the PS

Tyler and Kathleen get the beat detour on their third attempt.

Siblings fail their third attempt. Some tension between them now

Ben and Anwar fail their fourth attempt.

We are back to Allie and Eddie at the batter detour

We are told Drag Queens, Wrestlers and Deven and Amanda are there now.

Allie and Eddie are wrong on their 7th attempt.

Drag queens get the detour on their 3rd attempt! And Deven and Amanda on their 2nd

Gisele is struggling with the memory part of the detour.

Siblings get the detour on their 6th attempt.

Ben and Anwar now on their 7th attempt and get it

Youtube check in third, followed right behid the Drag queens.

We cut too Tyler Kathleen in fifth and Deven and Amanda in sixth.
