I'm guessing Joel and Garret wins with a 3-leg win streak while Greg and John get three 2nd place finishes and Rob and Corey get three 3rd place finishes to end the season.

edit feels like it's setting up a Joel & Garrett and Greg & John final 2 with Joel & Garrett winning... I think Rob & Corey are 3rd now but i hope they get a win next leg

I would really hope that editing alone does not give away the winners. If we can guess who is going to win several episodes in advance then what’s the point of watching.

This literally has happened for 35 seasons + 45 survivor seasons + a bunch of other reality shows. The winners edit is a known thing.

OMG the scramble twist for the finale!!
This changes everything and is actually smart for them to not have spoilers on the finale leg!

So is it like a hybrid-leg? Space needle then 3 tasks to do in any order via scramble then get on the plane to wherever and the final task/finish line?

From the press photos, it looks like the final memory task of placing Roadblock prompts and Detour choices on kayaks is at the Kenmore Air base in Kenmore, not the Lake Union base as we previously thought.

Interesting tho, after finishing the final memory task, they didn't directly go to the finish line but rather went to the West Point Lighthouse for final ARI. any potential task there or it is just like TAR 12/TAR 13 style to give a chance to racers to catch up/get lost?
what might have been

How close is it to the finish line? It might just be they were told to park there and make their way on foot the rest of the way

The lighthouse is about 20 miles to the finish line - a 7 hr walk  :funny:

FYI:
The distance from the memory challenge to the finish line is about 14 miles.
The distance from the memory challenge to the lighthouse is also about 15 miles but in the other direction.

This would be called The Amazing Race: The Americas Edition. By the way, we still haven't identified the maroon team after all these years.  :groan:

this thread is for season 35 (originally filmed as 36 but aired last Oct/Nov/Dec 2023). Your question should be under season 36 (which was originally filmed as 35 in Fall 2022).

Yes. it is confusing.

Half the maroon team has been identified. I'll wait till the offical promos on the teams come out.

It's quite odd that the team that managed to reach the final 3 got eliminated so early, in just the fourth episode.
