As always, per RFF's practices, we do not spoil the start location (if known) or any teams until it is believed that the teams are safely underway. We would never want to put a team in jeopardy or cause them distress or interfere with the actual running of the race. Info on future legs may also occasionally be protected for those reasons. But if you have info to share beforehand, we would love to know, so please feel free to PM or email me! Spoilers are treasured!

Looking at the flights that departed LAX last night, I'm guessing the flight was LA --> Seoul --> Bangkok, as the Seoul flight at 11:00pm was the only flight that had Thai Airlines listed, but that's just a guess.

They're going through Taipei. Not completely known if they are using two flights, but it would make sense with a task in LA and it's feasible.

No, because there's photographic proof of a reused location from Season 26 (Blind Date Edition): the temple from the "Water" side of the Detour where teams went after eating century-eggs.

34 and 35 checked off most of the non-Asian countries named in 33's planned route, so 🤞 for Nepal (and maybe Vietnam) <3

We've waited a long time for it to be visited. Covid made it longer just as we were finally going to get it

There are very few Thailand sightings whenever the teams go to Thailand tbh
The last time they went to Thailand we figured out is from the airport

I don't have inside knowledge like the mods do however I think it's likely they circumnavigate the world westbound visiting two or three countries in Europe that 33 and 34 didn't visit (Ireland, Finland, Latvia, etc) after Asia, some African countries are possible to also be visited. I don't believe they will do legs in the US (other than the final), but I could see them visiting Canada for the penultimate leg.

They've said in the past that they don't want to because it's too similar to the US. The only place that would be good for a leg is far up north where the culture's very different.

Anywhere else is better left covered by TAR Canada.

I speculate Leg 2 is in Thailand
Very likely replicate S33 route with Krabi as Leg 2
So I do think they may do a bus ride from Bangkok? (See TAR 9 with the bus terminal)
Then the Krabi leg may take like a day .
