As always, per RFF's practices, we do not spoil the start location (if known) or any teams until it is believed that the teams are safely underway. We would never want to put a team in jeopardy or cause them distress or interfere with the actual running of the race. Info on future legs may also occasionally be protected for those reasons. But if you have info to share beforehand , we would love to know, so please PM or email me! Spoilers are treasured!

It's nationwide but it likely won't impact TARC.

Nearly a third of Canada’s federal workers walked off the job Wednesday morning in one of the largest strikes in the country’s history.

The union representing more than 155,000 government employees says it called the nationwide strike to demand higher pay and clarity on work from home provisions, among other issues.

Canadians can expect disruptions on a variety of services, including passport applications and tax returns. Essential services will remain in place.

Both previous visits to Manitoba were only Winnipeg, there's more to the province.

The province of MB getting skipped for the rest of the reason is fine provided that Labrador proper gets its debut (lest Race Across the World 3 somehow omit it in the coming weeks).

I don't believe the teams have even arrived to the Olympic Plaza yet based on what I'm seeing so I believe the race is still happening.
