Also,  if you are watching anything but the CTV feed, it is your responsibility to be sure you are not ahead of us if you want to post/update in this thread.  If you are in the easternmost Canadian provinces you could be ahead of us watching on EST.

Well, shoot!  I finally move someplace where they have CTV, but there aren't any Canadian shows on here, for some reason!

We start with Jon's intro, saying they missed us. Seeing Canada like never before.

Here in the Laurentian Mountains, Mont Tremblant, 10 teams are reaching the startline via bikes.

Now team intro's starting with Jully and Kathy, then Court and Ali etc. Dennis and Durrell are the first uncle nephew team.

Unfortunately it doesn't look like any streams are available

To be more specific there are no free streams available.
There are a couple paid options, which would not work at all.

Even back in the TARC 4~5 years, we were getting the feed from Winnipeg, which also meant that those watching via the stream was also getting it later than the east coast showing.
So, no live options for those of us outside of Canada. Hopefully the turn around will be quick, if you know where to get them after broadcast.

Katherine was given a 2-6 year life expectancy, but 9 years later she is still here.

They did not introduce half the teams, and now we are at the SL

Some teams say they are happy to be here, Nella says they want to make an Alberta Hat trick in terms of winners.

And we are off!

First clue: Route info: Crack the code. Find five plaques around Tremblant that has a bit of the history of the town.  They must decipher a numerical code based on the plaques to determine their next clue. The decipher will say Old Montreal.

Intro, new font there

Cassie and Jahmeek first at a plaque. Now they get their official intro;

Teams are scattered. Bev and Veronica get their intro. Followed by Franca and Nella. "There is a beaver back there" 

Now onto Tychon/Cedric, They agree to share with Durrell and Dennis.

Bev and Veronica are the first to guess Old Montreal!

Clue: Make your way to the village dock, to sign up for 1 of 2 buses to Old Montreal. The signup board is fully decked out in Guru energy. The buses will arrive 15 mins a part. There is a selection of Guru drinks for the teams.

Craig Catherine - 2nd to guess correctly
Court and Ali -3rd
Cassie and Jahmeek - 4th
Franca and Nella - 5th
The Brothers - 6th (overheard the other teams and basically piggybacked off them  )
Jesse and Marika -  7th
Jully and Kathy - 8th (they ask locals where the buses are? lol, instead of where the signup board is)

We are back.

Bro's get second spot on bus one. Followed by Craig and Catherine, Ali and Court and Jahmeek and casse. Which means the team who got the answer and helped 4/5 teams on bus 1 (Franca and Nella, are on bus 2  )

SO Bus 1:

Bus 2:

Cedric and Tychon and Dennis and Durrell make guesses and are wrong. The brothers come back up and tell both teams the answer.

Teams are now boarding the bus to Monteal.

Next clue: Find one of two lifesized billboards showing Thor, to get next clue and part of hammer. They will need to collect the other parts along the leg to finish the final task.

The brothers find the billboard first to reveal the first RB of the race: Whose feeling well rounded?

Climb to the top of the Grand Roue de la Montreal., there is only two stations for this RB.

Connor is doing the RB

Bev/Veronica second, the former is doing the RB
Jahmeek/Cassie is third and will do the rb
Ali/Court are fourth, Ali will do the rb
Craig/Catherine are fifth, Craig is doing the RB and Catherine laughs at this. Craig: Heights is not my forte 

Connor now attempting the RB, followed by Bev on the other station. Its windy up there.

The second bus arrives.

Tychon passes by the billboard in clear sight, followed by Cedric

Franca and Nella are the first team on Bus 2 to get the clue from the walking billboard. Nella will do the RB

Jully asks a random person if they have a clue,  , they find it shortly after and Jully will do it.

Jesse and Marika next, Jesse will do the RB.
 
Dennis and Durrel are asking where the ferris wheel is, but never got their billboard clue??  But are listed in 9th.

Cedric and Tychon are in last and get their clue. Tychon will do the RB

Brendan: Come on Doodlebug! While cheering on Connor at the rb, he gets the title quote. He says that's what his mom calls him.

Connor finishes the RB.

Detour: Jazz or Pizzazz

Jazz: Make your way to Upstairs Jazz, listen to recording by Juno winner Ranee Lee, memorize lyrics and perform song and include improvising scats (no idea what that is).
Pizzazz: Make your way to Wiggle Room: Perform Burlesque dance and remove clothing items in correct order (lol).

Bev finishes (shown as getting clue)

Brendan and Connor / Veronica/Bev will do Pizazz

 Jahmeek / Cassie and Court/Ali finish, both will do Pizzazz

Craig: I already wet myself, why did we think it was appropriate for me (to do the RB) 

Craig finishes the RB. They are doing Pizzaz.

Brothers at the detour now. This looks like a limited station detour. only 5 helpers available.

Bev and Veronica are also practicing.  Jully is doing the RB, wishes it was higher. They finish and will do Jazz (no surprise here)

Nella does the rb and admits to being afraid of heights, but sings the way up to keep herself occupied.

Franca and Nella are also doing Jazz.

Brothers now attempt the detour. The practice and performance location are in different places.

They get it on their first try!

Clue: Make your way to the Rialto Theatre and then assemble the Thor thing from the pieces they got. After this they must find Jon at the stage and the first pitstop of the race!

Bev and Veronica get it on their first shot.

Jesse finishes the RB and they will do Pizzazz. Dennis is doing the RB for their team. He finishes, Tychon is shortly behind them. Both teams finish and will do Pizzazz.

France and Nella arrive at the music detour first. Meanwhile, Jully and Kathy are lost.  They pull over a cop car to ask for directions. The cop says they are far off, and Jully says they need a heavenly intervention 

Commercial,

Jully and Kathy are now getting a police escort to the detour!! lol

Cedric/Tychon, Dennis/Durrell and Jesse/Marika are now practicing at the Pizzazz detour.

Catherine and Craig finish the detour in third. Cassie and Jahmeek fourth.

Brothers arrive at the theatre, followed shortly by Bev and Veronica. This Thor puzzle is only 4 pieces but both teams are struggling.

Franca and Nella attempt the Jazz detour now. They get it on their first attempt. They are in fifth.

The brothers finish assembling first and head to Jon at the PS mat. They are team #1 !

They have won a trip for 2 to Los Angeles, where they will attend the premier of Thor Love and Thunder along with a $2500 Marshalls gift card and.... not 1, not 2, but 3 Express passes! Two must be given away before the fourth leg.

Ali and Court followed by Dennis and Durrell finish the detour in sixth and seventh. Both got it on their first try.

Jesse and Marika are the first to fail on their first attempt! Tychon and Cedric also get a no from the judges!

Jully and Kathy fail on their attempt at the Jazz detour.

The brothers finish assembling first and head to Jon at the PS mat. They are team #1 !

A few teams finish the puzzle and are checking in. Franca and Nella are in fourth, Craig and Catherine fifth, Ali Court in 6th, Dennis and Durrell 7th

After a brief search Tychon had it.

Jesse and Marika finish in 8th, and Tychon and Cedric arrive to the theatre in 9th, with Jully and Kathy lost.

Jully and Kathy are in last place., they have been eliminated from the race
