TAR34 will be airing right after Survivor which use to have 2 hour premiere episode, 3 hours finale episode and double episode (2 hours) somewhere between these during 12 nights. Sooo... Are we sure about there being 12 legs this season? Idk how they could fit 12 episodes of TAR in this schedule.
It can work by easily shoving TAR to 10 PM for the few times when Survivor does two hour episodes and having The Real Love Boat take a break for a week. If TAR were to do two hours, then the same can be said for The Real Love Boat taking a pause.
I definitely think we will at least finish before the Survivor finale as that eats up the entire night.
My personal (not confirmed whatsoever) spec is that we have 11 legs this season.
So here is my way too early prediction about the schedule:
We know that BB24 is starting on July 6th and running for 85 days, which means the finale is on September 28th. That finale should be at least 90 minutes but probably 2 hours so the Survivor premiere will be a week earlier on 9/21 (and the BB episode that day will be at 10 PM, similar to last year). So:
9/21:
Survivor premiere (8-10)
Big Brother (10-11)
9/28
Survivor (8-9)
Big Brother finale (9-10:30/11)
Survivor is typically a 13 week season in the fall, which means the three hour finale would be on December 14th.
Thus, TAR 34 would start on
October 5th and end on
December 7th. So it would be a 10 week schedule and there would need to be at least one double episode somewhere in there.
Also, Survivor did a 2 hour episode in week 6 during 42 (and should've done it as two hours in 41) so that would be October 26th and TAR would be pushed to 10 pm that week.
