AND WE ARE ON THE AIR!

Previously on TAR, 5 teams traveled to Halkidiki, Greece! Raquel got wrapped up at the Roadblock. Arun & Natalia were lost for words. X-U-P-C-H-L-U-K-I! At the second Roadblock, Penn flexed his powerful memory to give the married parents another 1st place under their belt. Meanwhile, costly mistakes led to a tearful goodbye for Lulu & Lala. 4 teams remain, who will be eliminated next?

All 4 teams are told they will be booking their rooms for the rest period via a Travelocity promotion app use.

Raquel & Cayla and Kim & Penn depart 1st at 9am. Teams must drive 30 miles to Theatro Dassous in Thessaloniki where stones are taking center stage.

Kim says there is little room for error while Raquel is stoked about going into this leg. Cayla feels they are learning from their mistakes. They hope to finally win a leg.

We return to Kim & Penn finding a map in the front seat. The map doesn't even have their current city on it. They are doing the "Best They Can" - The Holdernesses.

Group 2 of Ryan & Dusty and Arun & Natalia depart from the marina. Dusty realizes the lead is a tremendous advantage. He believes they are Greek gods and hope their energy can rub off on them this leg. Meanwhile, Natalia is impressed with Arun's strength and vigor. They are still in trouble navigating because of the lack of signs in the countryside.

Kim points out a sign and they are on the map route now. Meanwhile, Raquel and Cayla are lost.

Kim & Penn get to the theatre!

ROADBLOCK: Who will leave no stone unturned?
One team member must find a gold coin underneath a plethora of rocks to present to the oracle to receive their next clue.

They are mesmerized by the harpers and Kim is overwhelmed by the sea of 5,000 stones. "Only strategy is attacking one sections at a time." She creates landmarks to remember which stones were turned.

The lost in translation feeling is very much real. Cayla doesn't know if they need to turn around. A truck starts honking from behind. "I'm so lost." - Raq

Frustrating, but kinda glad there are no extras. As mentioned, each found coin, makes the odds worse for the toher ones.

We come back to Raquel & Cayla in a little bit of a (traffic) jam. "This is not right. We need to go back north." - Raquel. They ask for directions and are actually super close to the location.

Kim is still searching and her back is hurting. Flight attendants come in for a landing at the theatre in 2nd.

"Welcome to hell." - Kim to Raquel

Raquel would imagine it would stick out.

Ryan & Dusty arrive at the RB in 3rd. Dusty does it.

Kim is methodically searching in another part of the rocks while Arun & Natalia arrive in last. Arun does the RB. He says this is where they can pick up some time. The other racers in his way forbid his strategy. Kim pleas for help from the oracle from afar. And Raquel goes pass the correct clue. Meanwhile, this isn't actually very obvious as Kim thinks.

Everyone frantic as Kim rests for a minute.

Arun said he should've prayed, but Kim said she also prayed. "This is the great equalizer."

Raquel says she meditates every morning and she says this task felt better from the good juju and energy.

Teams still struggling while Dusty is losing his patience. We get another of that classic mistake sound effect. It's not obvious.

All four racers in an hour can't find any of the four coins. Suddenly, Raquel finds the gold coin under a stone!

ROUTE INFO: Find Socrates at Trigonion Tower and listen to his words of wisdom to receive your next clue.

Kim is reassured the coins are there after seeing Raquel finding it.

And just after, he finds the coin! They get the clue in 3rd.

Dusty is the last man in the trenches.

Natalia sees the tower on the map while Dusty is absolutely losing it.

Raquel & Cayla get to the tower and start running to Socrates. "There is only one good. Knowledge. And one evil - ignorance." He is looking into his soul before handing over the clue creepily.

DETOUR: Bring 'Em or Break 'Em
In Bring 'Em, teams must carry 500 plates to Cafe Jasmine. In Break 'Em, teams must smash through plates during a band ensemble to find a clue inside saying "White Tower".

Raquel & Cayla choose Break 'Em, while Kim & Penn arrive at Socrates' performance. They smash plates as well.

Raquel & Cayla read the fine print and start smashing plates in a rhythm to find the clue to avoid overworking. They realize they have to put on gloves to search through the rubble afterward.

Dusty is frantically losing his mind.

Raquel & Cayla start their musical plates again.

Kim & Penn still at the plate smashing Detour and Kim says one one of her friends got married in Santorini where she had celebratory plate smashing, but this task was different because of her internal rage. They find the tiny clue!

Arun & Natalia are driving in circles.

Kim & Penn arrive at the Pit Stop and get their "we have two ears and one tongue" speech and are TEAM NUMBER TWO!

That tends to happen when the only two tasks are both luck-based. Plus, once teams got to Thessaloniki, the locations were rather close together.

One RB and One Detour, with some RI in between. Unless someone chooses moving plates, we are getting fewer spots, as that was basically 2 places featured, the theater and the restaurant for plate smashing, and the RB even took over hours for the teams that found the coins first.

Meanwhile, Arun & Natalia FINALLY find the location but are arguing where they need to park.

Ryan asks for directions while Dusty is still high on the fact that he finished the Roadblock.

Arun & Natalia realize this may not be the location. "You are just running with no direction!" - Arun

Ryan & Dusty believe they are making good time while Arun & Natalia keep running. They finally find Socrates on the other side of the tower. They get their clue in 3rd and do the plate smashing. Ryan & Dusty come up from right behind to get their clue in 4th. All teams choose the plate smashing.

Arun asks for directions as they continue down the hill. Ryan & Dusty take a leisurely stroll into town. The father-daughter duo are dysfunctional with how they are smashing the plates and are arguing yet again.

This is an I Love Lucy episode.

Ryan & Dusty get to the plates and start hurling them quickly. They get their tiny clue!

FOOT RACE TIME!!! We get adrenaline-pumping music!!! Arun & Natalia vs. Ryan & Dusty. Arun & Natalia almost run into oncoming traffic while a dog chases after the bros.

Ryan & Dusty finally arrive on the mat and are the LAST team to arrive. They figured they were already in last. Dusty was disheartened by the fact the rocks took on the life of his old character. We get David & Mary's elimination episode music. Fortunately for them, this is NON-ELIMINATION LEG! They will be the last to depart, but No Speed Bump announcement. Speed Bumps are no more.

good short leg. honestly would have been better with one additional task as ARI tbf. RB looks so brutal, while the detour seems easy enough compared to the FF from season 9.

man i have to say that while i understand the staggering stuffs, it kind unfair to A&N because i believe R&D were far behind and the fact that the gap is now only 15 minutes after the pit start, its gonna be interesting to see at least

Man, those last 10 minutes were intense. I was 100% sure of a NEL but was rooting so hard for Arun & Natalia to finally catch a break. So happy for them! <3

What a show tonight. The most excited I've been all season. Can't wait for next week's finale! (and did I just see a Claire watermelon Switchback?)

I think that the piñata task was done in LA, as we saw R&C w the Claire shot. Not sure what kind of memory challenge it would be, but the fact that we have a semblance of one is great!

Arun & Natalia benefited from it twice this season already though, although I don't believe it would have really affected the race order.

The watermelon launch took place in England and we did have an England visit in the beginning so the location itself may have something to do with the switchback. Don't know how clips of different seasons can be incorporated without using outside sources though. That's what is throwing me off.

The fact that there were only 4 gold coins made the roadblock hard, unfortunately that was the only shining task in this leg. I was hoping the detour more challenging. Arun/Natalia and navigation are better love story than Twilight 😅😅😅. So glad they finished in third. Not surprised Dusty has anger management issue, he showed it in Corsica (leg 6).

I think that the piñata task was done in LA, as we saw R&C w the Claire shot. Not sure what kind of memory challenge it would be, but the fact that we have a semblance of one is great!

The watermelon launch took place in England and we did have an England visit in the beginning so the location itself may have something to do with the switchback. Don't know how clips of different seasons can be incorporated without using outside sources though. That's what is throwing me off.

Interesting! I never knew that was a full-time gig. I've always thought they were another method that audio engineers do to get the sound they want. I'm excitedly hoping for a team to recreate "Right in the kisser. Show that knight who's boss!" or "I made it my b-!"

Hey guys! It was an AMAZING finale and I promise to tell you all about it and send pics. Tomorrow is fly home day so not quite sure when that will be. Perhaps by late night tomorrow but more likely to be the following day. But it was Amazing and loved everyone!
