Back on ground, all teams get to their vehicles. Arun is happy it's not a stickshift. Raquel is not.

Teams are driving in the fog.

Michael & Moe get to the Detour first! Oh wow.

DETOUR: Punch It or Toss It
In Punch It, teams must attach ornaments to a belt in the correct sequence to tell a story to receive their next clue. In Toss It, teams must toss and twirl a Swiss flag in a traditional routine to receive their next clue.

Kim & Penn make it in 2nd while Ryan & Dusty, Lulu & Lala, Arun & Natalia, and Raquel & Cayla follow behind.

Michael & Moe are last while Natalia says to not help them. They want to focus on their own race.

Sheri is still trekking back and rips open the clue to the cars.

Kim & Penn and Ryan & Dusty get to the flags, disappointed it's not basketball.
"I've always wanted to be a flag girl."
They start practicing the routine in an attempt-to-be-peaceful motion.

Ryan is shocked how effortlessly the performer does a trick with his legs.
The F/F teams make it to room 2 of the flag Detour.
"I really wish I did color guard."

Arun & Natalia and Michael & Moe get to the belt Detour. They begin watching the demonstration.

Natalia reads the prompt and must put together the order in the way the story is told. Michael & Moe may have begun nailing on the wrong side. Uh oh.

Cayla has poor motor skill coordination so she is struggling. They wish the best for Lulu & Lala as well.
The room 1 teams (Ryan & Dusty and Kim & Penn) are still trying to get it together. Ryan & Dusty wants to switch Detours because they see the other option might be more straightforward.

I thought something felt familiar! The episode editing is much more old-school! Similarly, I'm really liking the content given to each team; each of their personalities is shining much more than in the first two episodes.

We come back to Ryan & Dusty in a split decision to... STAY in their lane for a few more tries. Kim's arms are tired while they try their first performance in front of the judge.

"Unfortunately, that wasn't correct." - Swiss judge

Akbar & Sheri finally makes it to their cars. "It's not over until the fat lady sings."

Meanwhile, Michael & Moe don't know what the heck they are doing while Arun & Natalia want to speed it up.

Ryan & Dusty make their first attempt with a fashion-forward attempt. They get kudos from the judges! In 1st.

ROUTE INFO: Drive to Altstatten and locate the Pit Stop in the city center. Last team to check in may be eliminated.

Kim realizes that whenever she lifts the flag, her arms get sore. She mentions that the money will be enough to pay for their kids' college tuitions and it's lighting a fire under her belly to get it done. Their second time was successful! They finish in 2nd.

Interesting that they get to ask for directions, just seems that producers are not collecting releases anymore, just blurring faces....

Akbar & Sheri reach the Detour decision clue at the guesthouse and go to the flags. Arun & Natalia and Michael & Moe are rushing through their belts.

Lulu & Lala are finished in 3rd after a successful attempt! Raquel & Cayla are getting stressed and frustrated. They consider themselves spiritual people and are meditative in general. Their next attempt was met with acclaim as they finish in 4th.

Akbar & Sheri see Raquel & Cayla and they give each other motivation with some tips.

Ryan & Dusty and Kim & Penn are trying to find the town center. They each pull into parking lots. Music picks up in a frenzy to the mat!

Back at the belts, Michael & Moe are frantically putting together their belt while Arun & Natalia get their first check. And....

They are correct! They leave in 5th.

Michael & Moe get their check and are completely incorrect. They are in the same position they are in leg 1.

Raquel & Cayla and Lulu & Lala get into a foot race for 3rd and 4th. No placement announcement.
Ryan & Dusty are strong competition to them.

Arun & Natalia are second guessing their directions. They are lost. "Are you freaking kidding me?"

Akbar & Sheri aren't getting the choreography and start bickering like in their London leg again. "You deserve to shut up."

So sad that the same teams that struggled at the start are the same teams struggling now.....

I'm looking at the title quote for this episode and I'm sad they didn't choose "You Deserve To Shut Up."

Anyways, stoked that the music I loved from the mid-contemporary seasons are making a huge comeback! This leg has been truly one of the best Switzerland legs next to season 14's iconic run.

Seeing Arun & Natalia lost, Akbar & Sheri bicker, and Michael & Moe stress out over a small mistake, it seems that the twins easily win the "most improved" award when comparing their performance with the first few legs.

That being said, I think something had to have been edited out. Push It seemed way easier than the choreography-based Toss It, unless the process of putting a hole in the belt is a lot more difficult and/or precise than it seems. Plus, we saw press photos with giant cabbages, and they didn't show up anywhere. It seems a shame to edit tasks out three legs in a row, though, as stated before, this leg is still better than the rest.

Michael & Moe fix their belt and try to get their approval. They succeed and get their clue in last.

It's a foot race! Akbar & Sheri ask for help and hope they got good directions. Arun & Natalia also ask and are told they went the wrong way. Old-school TAR! "It looks like we are back to square one." Exactly.

Akbar & Sheri ARRIVE ON THE MAT! Phil regrets to inform them that they are.... NOT last and are TEAM NUMBER 5. Sheri breaks down with Akbar in disbelief.

It's Michael & Moe going into Herzlich wolkomm bakery to ask for directions. They trust the baker.

Arun & Natalia vs. Michael & Moe. "I see civilization on the right."

Unfortunately, they've been eliminated AGAIN from the race after an initial run. "We were deer in the headlights." They are grateful for going a second time and thank TAR. They feel better about the loss now than the first time.

Wow, we get epic end credits again! Okay, best leg this season yet!

Honestly, the fact that Akbar and Sheri could overcome a 30-minute deficit to beat two teams is a testament to the leg design, or at least the hope that self-driving for the rest of the race brings. It certainly makes the legs and episodes feel fuller!

I'm pretty shocked this leg was an elimination! I do not know how many legs we have; according to the number of episodes left, we could have 10 or 11, but it seems like we have to have NELs with 6, 5, and 4 teams left to fill the season?
