TAR 33 (2nd try!) Transportation **POSSIBLE SPOILERS**

"Planes, Trains and Automobiles"
All transportation info, flights and more!


* Please keep in mind that due to Covid-- transport may be a different thing this time.
*Planes could be charters.
*Teams could ONLY be allowed to self-drive. (no taxis for example)
*Navigational devices COULD be allowed.


Bottom line:
Its a whole new ballgame so lets be prepared for anything!

If the race moves beyond Europe, it might not make sense for the planes to keep flying back to base in Stansted. Perhaps we would shift to having a single aircraft accompanying the racers?

Here are the flights we believe teams have used so far:

G-POWH (B757 aircraft) leaves Stansted via Halifax for Los Angeles
G-POWH flies as ZT901 from Los Angeles to Halifax: 16 Sep 3:45pm to 17 Sep 1:08am
ZT901 continuing from Halifax to Zurich: 17 Sep 2:09am to 1:20pm
G-POWH returns from Zurich to Stansted

G-POWN (A320 aircraft) leaves Stansted for Milan
G-POWN flies as ZT902 from Milan to Bastia: 22 Sep 11:09am to 12:02pm
G-POWN flies from Bastia to Figari: 26 Sep 7:23am to 7:46am
G-POWN flies as ZT903 from Figari to Thessaloniki: 26 Sep 9:38am to 12:20pm
G-POWN returns from Thessaloniki to Stansted

For timeline purposes: the flight departed Thessaloniki 9:25am, and arrived at Lisbon 11:18am.

For record purposes, ZT905 flew on 4 Oct from Lisbon to Portsmouth (11:26am-1:43pm) and onwards to Los Angeles (3:24pm-5:38pm).
