If they are doing Africa to Oceania then there are frequent direct flights from Johannesburg to Perth, Western Australia. Alternatively they could go Afica to Mauritius for a leg then Mauritius to Perth. and from Perth they can connect to most places in Australia.

Love all the enthusiasm! But please be careful NOT to turn this into just a location wishlist. We have one of those.

Intelligent discussion about where they could actually go (place X to Z) based on what we know  about their locations and flights is great and highly useful!

RFF's Golden Rule:
Have RESPECT for each other, regardless of opinion. This of course includes no flaming/insulting other users and/or their posts.

I think europe - west africa - europe route TAR12/17/25/30 style is posibillity with UK as rumoured first destination.
My guess would be Europe --> Africa --> Oceania --> South America. They've gotta be careful though, with the coronavirus.

Europe --> South America --> Africa --> Oceania

I'll throw this out as well, since there's a lot of connections from Europe to South America.
From South America, they can hop to Africa from Brazil since Sao Paulo has direct flights to Johannesburg, Addis Ababa or Luanda.
From Africa to Oceania, only South Africa & Mauritius offer flights to Australia.

If they are starting the leg from the Natural History Museum, it'll probably be at night after the museum closes in 35 minutes.

I don't really think there is a theme. I think it's just coming down to the fact that casting is finding these certain types of people more often.

That would be getting more difficult on travel between Europe and South America, tickets are slightly expensive.

Would they avoid ALL ASIA, though? They could go West only...

I could foresee a jump from the Middle East to Australia (like the Oman to Australia jump in TAR 9). There are multiple connections from the Middle East to Australian cities. I think they'll avoid the UAE since there have been confirmed Coronavirus cases, so maybe we'll see Kuwait or Oman again, or a visit to Qatar.

That being said, I think we could see Europe --> Africa --> Europe --> Middle East --> Australia/Oceania

As soon as I post this, I find out about confirmed cases in Bahrain, Oman and Kuwait. Murphy's Law strikes again!

They really should've by now.  But if no one's seen anything in the airports, then perhaps they're staying in England for another leg.  Maybe going to its more rural areas, where those who can spot them will be few and far between?

Assuming the teams could be in Spain, an underused European country unlike the overused France/Germany/Italy/Netherlands/Switzerland leg(s).

The Uk has 13 cases, however in these countries it’s contained.
The only nations they’ll defo have to avoid is Italy, Iran, China, Korea, Japan, Thailand, Singapore & Vietnam, however I reckon they’ll skip all of asia maybe except the Middle East.

I don’t see how the Middle East will be in play for security reasons. I personally think South Africa will finally get another visit, and they could go east or west in the Southern Hemisphere. We’re not done with the virus spreading by any means, especially with Iran and Italy being well connected for non American travelers. Let’s see what country they head to next. That alone will tell us something.

With 2 legs in the UK, one each in England and Scotland. Hoping there is a chance for a first time visit to Latvia.

For Asia, I think they are either avoiding it or going into some remote regions aka Maldives/Siberia (Vladivostock)

I also speculate they will do a TAR7 route.

If they go to Asia, they'll stick to Western/Central.

Regarding the new pic in Live!
When two teams arrive close/ or at the same time. Do the first team to arrive go to the left or the right? (Or it always changes? I'm just wondering which team arrived first between the two).

Also, could it be a face-off? I remember we had a sighting in S30 of the Lifeguards and the Basketball players in France at the same time. We didn't know then, but they were the last two teams. I would also match with the sighting of Phil's voice describing a task at the pitstop (or close by the pistop) Just some spec on my part.

I could see a Madrid leg and then the teams taking a ferry to Tangier, Morocco. And that would open them up to a lot of African locations they could go to for the next few legs

With regards to a Head-to-Head, the eliminated teams have stood on both sides of the mat the past two seasons. In a footrace, teams stand where they land on the mat.
