With THE AMAZING RACE AUSTRALIA branded as “coming soon” to 10 it puts host Beau Ryan on the PR trail, and this morning on KIIS-FM’s Kyle and Jackie O he may have accidentally revealed too much information regarding when the show will go to air. When asked about how he was feeling Ryan said he was “tired” and that he “had another week of this (press for the show)”, and that he was “still doing voice overs every single day. It’s a lot of work, I didn’t realise.” “We’re trying to get it (the show) ready for the end of the month because we’re trying to run off the 1.9 million Masked Singer are doing,” he said. “So you’ll be replacing us when we end?” asked Jackie.“Yeah, yeah that’s what we’re trying to do,” replied Ryan. With the finale for The Masked Singer expected to be scheduled for 7:30pm Monday 21 October it would mean 10’s version (the fourth for the series overall) would launch 7:30pm Tuesday 22 October, with Trial By Kyle then premiering after the finale or following the series premiere of The Amazing Race Australia.10 were contacted for comment, and a spokesperson confirmed the airdate “will be announced very soon”.
It’s a lot of work, I didn’t realise.

10’s first season of The Amazing Race Australia will launch at 7:30pm Monday October 28.This season is produced by Eureka Productions for the first time with Beau Ryan as host. Like The Masked Singer this will air as a short, sharp season over several weeks. The prize is a cool $250,000.Seven aired two seasons produced by activeTV and a third produced internally by Seven itself. We call it amazing, but it’s also crazy, ludicrous, outrageous and adventurous. From painfully slow taxi rides to furious camels, our not-so-trusty tour guide, Beau Ryan, will lead 11 teams as they ping pong across the world in pursuit of the $250,000 cash prize. In a race where every second and every step counts, you’ll need more than brains and brawn on your side. Some teams are even going as far as to call in a favour with the big fella upstairs.Relationships will be tested, decisions will be second guessed and a meltdown or two will be had. So strap yourselves in and get ready for the race that has it all.
