Indeed, it's not just you.

If so, then the rest of the route might go as follows.

Leg 7: Thunder Bay
Leg 8: Montreal
Leg 9: Sherbrooke, Gaspe, etc.
Leg 10: Iqaluit or Labrador
Leg 11: Halifax

From the tweet, it looks like teams took a bus. Teams might have arrived in groups of 3.

And if this is Leg 7, 6 teams should be left.

Last 3 seasons all had 6 teams racing during Leg 7.

Watch the German halls in the city. Knowing TARCanada's love of beer tasks, if they visited Kitchener and didn't do something with Oktoberfest (they do a huge one every year), they'll have wasted the biggest opportunity it has.

And in front of City Hall's where they do the ceremonial keg tapping.

If they went to the Charles St, Terminal, they could be staying in K-W or even be headed to Cambridge, Elmira, St Jacobs, New Hamburg.

Elmira and St. Jacobs have a significant Amish population. Wonder if they'd do something with that.

It would be quaint, some of the nicest farms ever. LOL

Re: the guy down the street from the Google campus. Waterloo is like the tech center of Canada. If there's a sighting in that area, there's a few cool tasks I could see them doing.

So...if we are at 6 teams on Leg 7, and we have an 11 Leg season, I think we're going to need either a KOR or NEL. Am I right?

If there are six teams left than this Leg 7 may be a NEL like it was last season in Winnipeg.

Yes, it's just spec! (hence the I think)
We Could be at final 5 or final 7...
We know 100% the first two legs were eliminations because we have the sign in sheet/thing at Kamloops airport for leg 3 with only 8 spot.

Then we had 4 legs since (Edmonton/Yellowknife/Nanaimo/Saskatoon). Looking at the last 3 seasons (with the 10 teams 11 legs format) Every season had 6 teams at leg 7.  Anything is possible but I think we are at 6 teams left. If leg 8 is also in Ontario, then it's possible we have a KOR like last year and season 4 with Kingston/Hamilton

I was at YVR between the Kamloops and Edmonton legs and definitely only saw 8 teams - no Jet & Dave, or the African-Cdn team :(

Students at the University of Waterloo say that TAR was filming on campus.

Also, here's another sighting by the Charles Street Transit Terminal.

One of the replies said "R O B O H U B"

That's kinda what I expected if they turned up at the U of W. It just opened last fall.

This state-of-the-art robotics research and test facility enables innovative research on multi-robot teams with its unique fleet of humanoid, aerial, ground, and magnetically-levitated (maglev) robots. This enables research on the unique robot platform as well as on heterogeneous robot teams."

Robot Wars Face Off? :funny:

With apologies to 2001 and Stanley Kubrick:

Robot:  I'm sorry, Dave and Irina. I'm afraid I can't do that. This mission is too important for me to allow you to jeopardize it.

LOL. Curious what they would be allowed to do with the robots. Maybe they have a stash of beaters. Could be an obstacle course, and I see they have drones too.

This confused me at first but there is the University of Waterloo and less than a km away the Wilfred Laurier University. They could be going to both.

Seems to be the case.

New comment: "Is this related to the filming they were doing in E7 with the Pepper humanoid robots and that obstacle maze setup they had?"

E7 is the building that houses RoboHub.

Robot Wars Face Off? :funny:

Part of me really wants that to happen.

Oh this should be good. Apparently Pepper the humanoid robot has facial recognition, is optimized for human interaction and can read human emotion. I can see Jon & Pepper now.  :funny: Actually, I kinda think Pepper may just be there for that and maybe judge/handing out the next clue.

Peach, what you mean by the 'Final Task/Finale at Laurier University Stadium' ???

It reads to me like you are talking about the Finish Line of the race!  :funny:
