TAR Canada 7: Speculation & Discussion of SPOILERS
« on: April 15, 2019, 09:22:06 PM »
This thread is the WORKZONE of our spoilers.

This is where ALL the spoiler discussion of the TARC7 race goes, NOT in the LIVE thread. It is where we try to thrash out what the LIVE sightings mean.

As always, per RFF's practices, we do not spoil the start location (if known) or any teams until it is believed that the teams are safely underway. We would never want to put a team in jeopardy or cause them distress or interfere with the actual running of the race. Info on future legs may also occasionally be protected for those reasons. But if you have info to share beforehand , we would love to know, so please PM or email me! Spoilers are treasured!

This thread will be opened once the race is beginning. NO POSTING UNTIL WE HAVE LIVE SIGHTINGS PLEASE.
RFF's Golden Rule:
Have RESPECT for each other, regardless of opinion. This of course includes no flaming/insulting other users and/or their posts.

Can I ask a question on the photo of the starting line by Daniel Silverman. Delete if necessary. I count 18 people in the starting lineup - 9 teams? Any thoughts?

I guess it's not unexpected they'll have the returnee team run out last. But that's what I want to know first more than anything :D

Given the Starting Line location, it might well be the first westward route since 3's attempt at one.

I’m surprised we haven’t seen no airport pics yet, maybe they aren’t heading too far from Toronto ?

They were sighted in Vancouver, but do we know if it’s a connection? Maybe a first-time visit to Kamloops or Prince George?

So for a little recap, so far we got:

Startling line in Toronto
- SL is Metro Hall
- Clue box spotted in front of Extreme Reach, 635 Queen Street East
- One team spotted crossing the street in front of KFC in Humber Bay, 156 The Queensway, Etobicoke
- Several teams spotted in Pearson, Terminal D

Leg 1 in Kamloops:

- Arrive at the airport, find vehicle
- Ajax Mine (reported as the first clue)
- Flag spotted at Kamloop's Bike Range
- Teams spotted in Aberdeen and Juniper area
- Riverside Park: Post leg interview (potential pitstop close)

As for leg 2: I would speculate 3 options:

- Another BC leg (Either close to Kamloops or close to Vancouver)
- An Alberta leg
- A NWT leg, maybe finally a full Yellowknife leg?

Thank Stunami,

a few logistic notes:
- the Juniper neighbourhood is at the upper entrance to the Kamloops Bike Ranch (where the photo of sign & flag is)
- the Aberdeen area is on the way south to the Apex mine

I'm hoping for another BC leg - perhaps Prince George?

Do we know what time the first pictures of post interview was taken?
(The one with team 6) If Jet/Dave was at 6h30, we will could know who was the first of the two teams.

We have two locations for sure with tasks, but I think we must be missing 1 or 2.

That first pic says it was posted "13 hours ago" so roughly at or before 8PM PDT, I think???
