Breaking news:

As a result of the low ratings, there are strong rumors that "Genios" might be cut. For instance,  a humor special will be aired and it was suggesred by Marcelo Tinelli to Ángel De Brito that he's going to have more busy nights on the week, what could mean that DFAD might return to air on Thursdays and Fridays.

If this happens, it would be interesting to see how things are going to work with the current format, as previous seasons that aired from April to December and four days a week usually had 25-27 couples competing and this year there are only 16 couples. There's always a chance that they decide to add new teams, or even - after a certain number of eliminations - they could opt to do a repêchage and bring some couples back.
