Beats me why a former White House Director of Communications would even think of doing this...

Bet he will try promoting his latest book that came out last year. And, he was only in the WH for 6 days (appointed 7/21/17, started working 7/25/17, fired 7/31/17). He got fired after his profanity laced rant about several members of the administration.
What is interesting about him is that at one time he backed both Obama and Hillary Clinton. He has also worked with Romney on his presidential campaign. He has criticized Trump many times before the election and even tweeted that he hoped Hillary would win the election.
He is loyal to no one.
