Leg 11I've wanted a leg in Banff for some time as it's the only Canadian location that had been visited by other TARs but not TARC. However, when I heard that Banff was the site of the finale, I had fears that this would be similar to the Whistler leg (one of my least favorite legs of all time). The first half of this leg did not assuage my fears, since it looked like Taylor & Courtney would dominate the leg after one task. Thankfully, we had an actual memory task that allowed teams to catch up. I glad that we got an exciting finish that gave us our first M/F team to win TAR.

That zombie nearly gave me an aneurysm.
Courtney wanting a beer.
Air Traffic Control: Reminded me of the Confucius task from TAR 19. Glad this task didn't determine the winner, so I liked it.
Skijoring & Slush Cup: Easily the weakest part of the leg. Teams just had to do the tasks. Why was there no time limit?
Souvenir: Ideally for me, I like the Race to end with the final 3 competing in the memory task at the same time. (i.e. TAR 12, 25, 30) This task didn't quite reach that since the edit pretty much forgot Dylan & Kwame. At the same time, I'm glad that we had two teams in strong contention, the task allowed a team to catch, and that this task was the one that decided the winner. It was very much an expansion of the Hong Kong search from TAR 30, and the sheer volume of items teams had to find allowed for some confusion.
(For a finale, there were fewer than normal tasks.)
I'm in mourning. Rooting for Courtney & Adam to win.
Congratulations Courtney & Adam Wish them all the best with their wedding.
4/5Overall, I did enjoy this season. Here's hoping for season 7.
