Production can be very nimble with last minute changes. The Hungary leg(s) in TAR 6, the Rio leg in TAR 2, and the Phuket leg that reportedly replaced the planned Laos leg(s) in TAR 19, are just three examples. The first two are more pertinent here though, and tasks can be relocated to other areas of the city.

Well, according to a gal that took the video of Rachel and Elissa boarding a train, she said one of teams said they were going to look for a clue in HCMC and they were trying to exchange their US $$$ to Dong. She also said there was a TAR producer outside when the informant was hailing a cab.  So I think they fully intended to stay in HCMC.  But I suppose they could have been told to either fly to somewhere else or take a train/cab to another city in Vietnam. Totally possible since we haven't seen the teams in a couple days!

I wonder if producers purposely planned the first few legs in far off asia to throw off stalkers and spoilers . In Europe they'd have been swarmed. In far Asia there are fewer CBS reality fans to run out and look for the teams.

Actually, that's not true. TAR has aired on AXN in much of Asia throughout its run, there are/have been various regional versions for at least a decade (check Wikipedia), and some of the most spoiled legs have been in Asia over that time.

It is too early to get Europe leg. But the race completes four legs, with eight to go. I wonder that it could have a 5-continent race.

My guess - it's a start of a new leg and clue tells to go to airport so racers aren't in a rush. Colin/Christie and Vic/Nicole could finish last leg at the same time so they started with 1 min difference and bumped into this girl. Will see if she replies to Peach.

My guess is similar to yours but opposite in some ways maybe it was a foot race first and Team Ox (Colin and Christy) or Vic  and nic came in first and started one minute away from each other
