There was a major news conference in HK March 23.

Major things:

Filming to start in early May.

Another Celebrity Edition

Will have an Indiana Jones type search for a treasure Item each leg

Some sort of partner exchange towards the end.

it is learned that this season will be the classic movie "Indiana Jones" as the theme, guests will be from Hong Kong Victoria Harbor, Nordic "Viking legend" Stockholm, "fairy tale town" Denmark, visit the Middle East of Israel, Mumbai, Sri Lanka, Singapore, Vietnam, and finally returned to Shanghai, Zhang Yi said the fourth quarter will be strong plot content and film level production standards, Production "more variety of film temperament" reality show. Been reading a bit about the new season, will update this post, as I go through some articles.

There's a new title sponsor for the season 黑黑乳 which is a line of sesame based instant drinks.

Just as Season 3 had an Olympic Games theme, the new season is subtitled "Raiders of the Lost Ark" - that's the Indiana Jones bit of the season, with all destinations having some ties to historic sites, with historical ties with China (It almost reminded me how TAR Can international legs, try to always tie them to Canada).

Just a reminder for the those who haven't followed TAR China before, even though there's a map showing all the destinations, unlike most other entries to the franchise the show is not filmed continually. It is filmed in small bursts with a few legs at a time.

It does seem to suggest that it feature start with 13 teams. The article also mentions they'll starting filming on the 3rd quarter - hence around July~September.

The cast seems to have changed to some of the people who were suggested previsously.

I re-uploaded the pictures showing the celebrities from the press conference, but still haven't been able to track down  the proper team breakdown whether we're actually getting 13 teams or whether some of the celebs listed individually will actually participate together. Added a few names.

Until we get the press pics, hopefully these can help.

First some speculation:
- Hans Still not confirmed but will be listing him anyway.
- 3) 彭于晏 Eddie Peng and 13) 蒋劲夫 Jiang Jingfu seem very likely to be racing together, as several websites list them as very close friends. So listing them together below.

What a weird production process. So it seems despite the press event unveiling those celeb, things have changed again, regarding who's racing.

Two news links about the filming of leg one, with several names that weren't in the press event thing I posted before.

It repeats info and adds some other, but very little matches to what we got in April from that press event:
1) FaBinBin racing with Evonne Hsieh.
2) 鄭元暢Joe Cheng (Singer-Actor from Taichung Taiwan) racing with 王麗坤Claudia Wang (Actress/ Dancer from Chifeng, China) - Dating?? Joe Cheng was actually lsited among the celebs on the initial press release for the season, but he wasn't included in the celeb reveal press conference. Which makes this even more confusing.
3) 修杰楷(Xiu Jie Kai, actor from Taipei, Taiwan) and 賈靜雯 (Alyssa Chia, Actress from Taipei, Taiwan) - Married
4) 吳敏霞 WuMinXia and spouse. (1st link says boyfriend, second link says spouse, not sure which one is correct)
BTW, if someone want to adds the pictures (items 1 and 3 in the gallery) from this link to the live thread, they're from an press source after all.
