I'm a little late to the party, but I finally finished Australian Survivor!
My general opinions on the season was that I thought the premerge was phenomenal and I was excited to watch it every week! However when the merge started, it just got boring and uninteresting very quickly with a majority alliance and obvious boots (which is why I waited so long to watch
). I loved JL but she was such a hypocrite about begging people to make moves before she left but yet in F13-F12-F11 (or so I don't remember) she just voted with the majority before waking up to play the game. I thought Matt was also a little like this too.
My favorite from the season was Phoebe and I wished she would have went all the way. <3 At the merge I really didn't like anyone and then JL started to grow and I liked her until she left, and then I loved Flick at F7 and onward and once it was F6 she was the only one I was rooting for.
As with Kristie winning, I didn't really care who won between Lee and Kristie. I thought they both played awful games and really didn't do much to control their game besides being loyal and staying in an alliance. Honestly I think they didn't do much to control their own destiny and moving the game. I thought Kristie did a little bit more than Lee to control her destiny and I respected her winning over Lee, but overall I felt they were both bad loyal players, as many people in the merge were.
I look forward to Season 4 hoping for a better post-merge!
