They are split into tribes.

The blue tribe, the yellow tribe and the red tribe, who knows what they are called idc.

They will race out to get fire. The first person to light the torch wins fire for their tribe. A huge advantage on Day 1.

THE CONTESTANTS MEET JONATHAN WHO WELCOMES THEM TO AUSTRALIAN SURVIVOR. 50,000 AUSTRALIANS APPLIED FOR THE SHOW. JONATHAN ASKES NICK WHY HE SHOULD WIN. DES IS 59. CONNOR SAYS AUSTRALIAN SURVIVOUR 'IS A DREAM COME TRUE' HE'S NOT SURE IF HE CAN WIN THE GAME. THE BLUE TRIBE IS CALLED 'SAANAPU' THE YELLOW TRIBE IS CALLED 'VAVAU' AND THE RED TRIBE IS CALLED 'AGANOA'

JOHNATHON REVEALS TO THE CONTESTANTS THAT THEY ARE TO RACE TO 'FIRE' THE FIRST PEOPLE TO GET THERE, WILL WIN FIRE FOR THEIR GROUP. HOWEVER, JOHNATHON ALSO REAVLS THAT THERE IS AN ANOTHER BUOY. THEY CAN ALSO GO TO THIS ONE, WHICH IS FILLED WITH SUPPLIES.

CONNOR IS FIRST INTO THE WATER AND ROLAND IS FIRST ON THE SUPPLIES PLATFORM! ONCE ALL TEAM-MEMBERS ARE ON THE CANOE, THEY CAN SET OFF TO THE FIRE PLATFORM. BLUE TRIBE IS INFRONT. RED TRIBE IS LAST TO START UNTINING THEIR KNOTS. THE BLUE TRIBE IS THE FIRST OFF AND PADDLING TO THE FIRE. YELLOW TRIBE IS RIGHT BEHIND THEM. TWO BLUE AND TWO YELLOW TRIBE MEMBERS JUMP INTO THE WATER AND START SWIMMING TO THE PLATFORM. RED TEAM JUST KEEP LOADING SUPPLIES. SAM (FROM BLUE TRIBE) IS FIRST AT THE PLATFORM AND SO BLUE TRIBE WINS FIRE!

Des says he's got a fair bit of survivor knowledge but doesn't feel the need to tell them.

Lee says he was a professional cricketer. He loves winning (who doesn't).

Rohan is a model. He has two degrees though!!
