Season 33 of Survivor will be filmed in beautiful Fiji, the same country which was used for season 14, Survivor: Fiji.
The theme of this upcoming season was revealed at the Survivor: Kaôh Rōng reunion show as Survivor: Millennials vs. Gen X

There will be two tribes of 10 new players divided by generation. The only prominent person, perhaps, is Mari Takahashi, described as the third most associated member of Smosh, behind Ian and Anthony.

Millennials Tribe

The word vanua means “land” or “home”. In Fijian culture, vanua represents the people and their customs and beliefs, as well as their relationship to the land. Vanua Levu is the second largest island in Fiji. The Millennials tribe is the “young tribe”, with ages ranging from 18-31.

Gen X Tribe

I think he only taught the class prior to his season. Post WA he has just been in LA doing.... Acctually what is he doing?

Shirin is awful outside of the show, Carolyn sucked so much after merge by allying with horrible people (but rebounded on finale), Hali is decent, but So and Jenn are so awful out of the show too lol.

If a WA person is returning, it better as well be Hali.

There's a lot of people related with being missionary, religion, help the others... I think it was a failed theme and then they turned it into the ages thing.

The production hype is scaring me too (because Worlds Apart happened...), but I'm actually looking forward to seeing ~half of this cast and there are always surprises so it's looking kinda good to me

I don't think religion will be huge, or if it is, there might be like an "exodus" of the religious folk, since the castaways with less info like that in their bio seem to far outnumber the pastors/missionaries.

Although if a lady named Sunday isn't entertaining to at least a small extent, I'll cry.

Soooo.... an Aussie TV presenter leaked a tribal buff on his instagram.
He received it from Jeff Probst, the buff is signed as you can see in the picture.

This is obviously a spoiler for a twist in season 33, which makes it really strange that CBS sent Billy Bentley this buff. It's a green one for the tribe Ika Bula (meaning "turtle"), which makes it pretty clear that there will be a switch from 2 tribes into 3, just like in Cambodia. When? I hope at least not after the first 2 tribals. At 15 would be cool, but something like 16 with 1 person going to exile would be even better in my opinion.

Here's who I think will go far: Zeke, Michaela, Taylor, Ken,Sunday, David, Jay, Mari, Figgy, Hannah

Hannah could be a early boot. I see it but I decided to put her in the top half.

The guys look really really REALLY boring (Except Paul <3) and only Mari screams out potential from the girls on the Millenials

I feel like this will be a middle of the road season. Some interesting characters but overall not compelling enough.

Jessica L/Bret/Michelle seem to have very dull intros so I'm very inclined to believe they are out early.
Leaning towards Jessica L for first boot.
Winner vibes from Michaela for me.
Figgy is my pick for most likely to be the biggest surprise. She's a wildcard.

Can't wait to see this play out.

Tbh I think we will have a few well-fleshed out characters and a lot of supporting players, who we will not get to know that much before their boot.

Most of the guys are really boring for me, there's more diversity in the girls. I love Michaela & Mari, look forward to seeing Cece & Sunday, and feel like Rachel & Hannah will play great roles as a dumb flirt (no offence

) and a nerd respectively. Michelle & Lucy seemed the most bland to me.
As for the guys, I'm only really looking forward to seeing Paul, Zeke and David. Will to an extent as well, but hearing that voice is an 18 year-old is a tad off-putting.

Ken has potential, but he just seems like a Nick Maiorano/Jay Byars hybrid who has a girl to care for, so idk how that's gonna work out.
