So, spelling the names of the cities they have traveled is the momory task?  :groan:
I think Sheri and Cole will win. They have very positive edit since episode 1. Last leg, when they arrived at the pit stop, i felt it was winning moment, and the editor also played TAR intro. I don't know if everyone felt the same :P

Out of all the names, I think Chamonix, Tbilisi, and Denpasar would be the most difficult for them.

They must have seen them spelt a number of times in airports, the actual cities, etc. so it doesn't seem like a hard task at all to me :gaah:

I think it will be more like a puzzle to place the barrels in one way so all the words are shown. Sort of like the season 23 final task

They should have made it become spell out the name of Pit Stop or something if they really want team to spell things out. That would be a bit more difficult.

The tasks this don't require much teamwork imo. 2 RBs, and the mountaineering task has teams doing things separately. The only task teams do together is rowing a boat? Kind of odd imo.

We have the "synchronized mountaineering" task which will be quite challenging and requires them to work together.

I hope for Sheri and Cole, but I thin Dana and MAtt will win - they are far ahead it seems after the first challenge (grabbing in jump for the clue). I dont know why Cole is doing the memory task and Sheri done the jump? I know he is afraid of hights but it is for million dolars and he would be quick.

I wouldn't have my doubts of Dana and Matt winning if they didn't have OTTN and UTR legs late in the race.

In this Active Route Marker, the teams must perform synchronized mountaineering.

Sheri and Cole search Santa Barbara Harbor for the "Theresa Ann" boat.

Dana and Matt search for the next clue on the season finale of The Amazing Race.

Host Phil Koeghan surveys the beautiful view of southern California from his spot on the mountain.

Matt passes from one mountain to another.

Sheri and Cole work together at the Active Route Marker.

Matt hangs in midair from her zip line.

Cole tries to go after his half of the clue at the Active Route Marker.

Tyler tries climbing the side of a mountain to retrieve his half of the next clue.

In this Road Block, Dana spells out the names of the cities they've visited along the Race.

Korey grabs letters from the top of different wooden barrels.

Cole stops to remember all the places he's visited during the Race.

There are two clue halves hanging after Matt has his.

Could they...be...in the lead still? (and ofc there's no helpful shadows like with TAR 26 or anything :/)

I noticed:
Korey's pic arranging barrel covers: he is holding a barrel cover with #MontBlanc on it.
So my thought is he's moving every letters to the other side because that hashtag barrel needs to be place at the end.
And plus, the barrels in the middle showed D , D and S Which means Dubai, Denpasar, Shenzhen?
So in that case the barrels would be 3 cities at a time. :didimiss:

Synchronized mountaineering may be one member coes vertical and one goes horizontal ???

Oh, they'll probably catch up to at least Dana & Matt.  Whether they'll catch up to Sheri & Cole is another matter altogether.

Yup, just like what 27 did with both final task and finish line be near each other.

We even don't know if Sheri & Cole are in the lead at some point. (Matt & Dana are in the lead in the first roadblock). How can you say they can catch up with the team in the lead but not the team in the second place lol

I do think this season results will depend on the memory task. Just like Season 25.
