Before I read anything in this thread…
I'm impressed that TAR28 is not having short intros yet.
I like both roadblocks. They require lots of effort, and they are difficult and cultural. The 2nd roadblock was beautiful.
I think all the tasks this leg are cultural, with the snakes, and even the fruit offerings that we've seen in TAR22.
I would also consider the speedbump good, since it is time-consuming and difficult. I'm glad Sheri & Cole got 3rd despite the speedbump's difficulty.
I like how only no one else knows the status of Brodie & Kurt's EP, except the team themselves and Burnie & Ashley.
I now think they wasted the EP, but for a strong team like them, it's interesting to see them fight for last.
I would consider the leg very physical. An all-female team might have trouble this leg if they make it this far.
The leg, though, feels very short. It's probably the leg design.
Burnie & Ashley are becoming the Kelsey & Joey of the season.
What's worse is that they were so robbed in Leg 4 with the awful leg design at the end.
Brodie is good with title quotes
but not with roadblocks, apparently. I've booted out a team in my fanfic for showing weakness in roadblocks. It'd be such a shame if this becomes their downfall. They ran a good race overall, but towards the end, it seems like they're falling. They were 1st at the start of the leg, even at the end of the ARI, but all it took were those roadblocks, and the loss of their EP.
At least it's interesting to see frontrunners like them fall behind and fight for last.
Zach & Rachel were likable, and it's quite sad to see them go.
They have such an epic exit. I wouldn't mind seeing this team back for another season.
Since I'm currently watching TAR Aus 1, I realized that the music affects all the suspense edits, funny ones, etc. Did TAR replace their old musician, or was he just told to make new ones?
With the W-turn next leg, and a 2nd leg in Indonesia, I'm speculating that the leg will be linear. Also with Brodie & Kurt's time gap with the rest of the teams, I can see them getting screwed by the W-turn. After all, it'd be wise to U-turn a strong team who is behind everyone else.
