Thanks! the prob is I do not want to use an ethnicity description I believe to be incorrect. I do not think that team is African...so we will use another phrase for now. I hate labels lol! Thanks for changing it.

As for 5 teams  lefts!

We know Hamilton leg had 6 teams left... what if:

Hamilton/Kingston is one leg/ or a double leg NEL
then 6 teams go international: 2 legs 1 EL, one NEL
then we are back with 5 teams... ?

I was hoping to find something on the ground from the fortress, but no related mentions of "Louisbourg" on Facebook or Twitter from the last few hours

Curious about how they had a detour at the Fortress of Louisbourg, but the picture of Emmett leaving the Coast Guard, he had a detour envelope. If the people at the Fortress said they were doing a detour, could they have done two detours? Or was Emmett's clue just an older clue?

Maybe the Coast Guard was the Detour Decision Point? Or just where they got the clue?

So try backpacks/cameras/filming/Jon Montgomery/Sydney/fiddle/

Look at a list of things to do in the area and input some of those terms.

KENNINGTON COVE - CAPE BRETON ISLAND

The beach nearby Fortress Louisbourg is called Kennington Cove and one of Cape Breton's hidden treasures as it offers one of the best sandy beaches on Cape Breton Island. At this historic location New Englanders came ashore in 1745 and the English in 1758, beginning sieges that lead to the fall of Louisbourg.


 Wolfe’s Landing National Historic Site of Canada is located in Kennington Cove. Contained entirely within the Fortress of Louisbourg National Historic Site of Canada, the site is bounded by a rocky beach to the south, and a rolling landscape of grasses and forest to the north, east and west. It was from this site that, during the Seven Years’ War, British forces launched their successful attack on the French forces at Louisbourg. Today, there is only sand, sun and sea.

I was actually expecting it to be the Pitstop, not just a Detour. The other gate at the far end is the primary entrance, and it is beautiful.
Another site closeby is the Louisbourg Lighthouse, which is the 1st lighthouse built in Canada. I wouldn't be surprised if they used it for a route marker.

I'm surprised nothing came up around the giant fiddle on the waterfront. That would have made a great Route Marker.
