About the honorees:

María Elena Walsh was an Argentine poetisse, writer, playwright, songwiter and composer. She wrote songs for children that have been sung for all the kids in this country during the last five decades.

Lolita Torres was an Argentine singer and TV, theatre and movies actress from the past century. She was one of the most popular and beloved performers, with a career extended during fifty years; and, of course, is Angela Torres grandmother.

About the honorees:

Roberto Gómez Bolaños "Chespirito" was a Mexican actor, comedian, screenwriter, director and producer. His iconic creations, "El Chapulín Colorado" and "El Chavo del Ocho", were part of the childhood of thousands of men and women across Latin America.

Rodrigo Bueno was an Argentinian cuarteto singer. He passed away in a traffic accident in 2004 after becaming the most important and popular voice of the genre. Some of his song were danced in DFAD during the different CUARTETO rounds.
