The flag-matching looks hard unless you're a vexillologist (flag wizard): there doesn't seem to be any wind blowing the flags out so they can be distinguished.

Is the "largest-ever footrace" necessarily referring to the number of teams footracing?

Or could it be that the running distance is extremely long?

Just speculating here, might be misinterpreting the words as a non-native speaker

Yay another race to the finish. This season has a lot of those--we've definitely been lacking for the past few seasons.

But I noticed Brodie & Kurt, Tyler & Korey, Burnie & Ashley, and Sheri & Cole are not seen in the train portion of the promo. Could they be ahead/part of the footrace?

Yeah, it looks like the 10 nations are specifically highlighted on the board

I would guess they need to match the name of the country to the pole position and then to the flag... though I don't understand how the models could struggle with that, maybe there's something more tricky to it

I suppose we will just have to see their meltdown and find out

I personally think with matching tasks like this one it's really easy to struggle, because you might get just one thing wrong, and then start "correcting" the other ones into being wrong as well. That in turn can lead to major confusion over what's correct and what's not.

Fair point, but I think this differs from most matching tasks in that the flags are right there for reference. It's not like TAR21 final memory challenge where there's nothing to go off. It should be easy to look up and narrow down which ones you might have wrong.

Even if a few of the dummy answers are quite close in design to the real answers, I would think trial and error would enable you to get out of there in a decent amount of time

Actually, there are 50 original UN member states, but stating to be given 10 of 50 each. Switzerland itself became a UN member in 2002.

This may be an obvious point that's already been mentioned elsewhere, but if you have teams given a big equalizer just before the pit stop (wait for the next train to Chamonix), then it's not surprising there was a big footrace from the Chamonix train station to the pit stop.

I only missed a visit to CERN and The Red Cross Museum, but hopely they will go there in the future.
