Mother/son team survived 1st leg.  :cheer: But it was NEL anyway, I think. I expect lot of early NELs because of "famous" cast, tbh.

It's not really a problem, tbh. Because it means that second half of the race will be more intense.

Fingers crossed it's the first season since 20 to visit more than one new country!

Used to be, but they've cleaned up their act. On one episode of House Hunters (a show I watch) where a family moved to Bogota, they said it's gone from a city with major crime problems to a booming powerhouse for business. Articles I read seem to confirm that.

One of my best buddies married someone from Colombia and has been there many times...safe as any other place.  Happy to (potentially) see it on the race finally!

Colombia could just be an airport layover. Let's wait until we get confirmation to celebrate.  :hoot:

It's just leg 2 and I'm more excited on this season's locations than TAR27 and TAR26 locations :funny: :cheer:

Hopefully we can see more new countries in this season that we thought that it won't be visited in TAR because of some issues. :luvya:

Or you know. Countries never visited or not visited in 25 seasons...
Just throwing that out there...

Glad to hear Colombia is no longer as dangerous as it once was, since TAR is now racing there!

Mexico finally get visited after TAR3 (I hope we have black and white TAR3 flashback), and a possible Colombia as the new countries visit.  :hearts:

This route look pretty fantastic and I can't wait to see on TV.

TAR has been visiting new countries lately from Season 25 we've had Malta, Season 26 Monaco and Season 27 Zimbabwe. I'm surprised that Colombia is visited this season, absolutely happy.  I'm hoping that they visit Cartagena, I've read this is one of the best places to visit in Colombia and one of the best destinations in South America.

5 Tyler/Korey (thanks Xarles for clarifying)

So two all-female teams are probably safe!  Hope the third one is safe as well!

Sad to see that they finally went to Mexico city, after 25 seasons without having anything related to Day of the Dead. :'( :'( :'( :'(
Love The Amazing Race, The Apprentice and Survivor.
