Random relevant question: Do we usually get a lot of spoilers for European legs?

Phil in pit stop (girl with white top is the greeter)
Show content
(Image covered for space and... file size?)

Got this from the Live thread, and I was curious because this looks like Joey & Kelsey, but their placement wasn't spoiled. ???

Angola is one of the hardest countries to get a visa. Plausible, but we'll see.

Isn't Angola too dangerous? ??? I doubt it. (Esp. with at final 10/9, it will be too expensive to made the safety guide for this lots of teams)

Really could be, though I would love to see Oceania in the mix - either after South America or before Asia.

That video from Argentina is fantastic. It looks to me the person with the video camera must have a GoPro or something similar because the camera angles suggest from is from the POV of his head, and I get the impression neither the Racers or the crew were aware of being filmed that way.

If in fact there was a switchback task involving the TAR 7 meat roadblock made famous by Rob, then that will likely be the only such task for the season.

As to flights out of Buenos Aires, past seasons have seen connecting flights to southern Africa via Sao Paolo, IIRC, and to Moscow (TAR 9) and I believe without looking for flight schedules that flights to Australia/New Zealand are also possible. In my opinion, any direction is possible this early in the Race.

Well in TAR5 we have Buenos Aires to Saint Petersburg as well and some of them connect through Sao Paulo. If they fly to Europe, maybe we might saw another South America - Northern/Eastern Europe. I might guess some Eastern / Northern Europe cities like Helsinki in Finland, Riga in Latvia, Tallinn in Estonia or Vilnius in Lithuania might pop up since we haven't visit the Baltic countries and Finland in a long time. (Even Latvia haven't get a visit yet.)

Yeah, Vilnius plzzzzz <333333
Though I will be away in Trakai for the next week, would be even worse to miss them than for them not to go here at all.
There are a lot of beautiful places in Lithuania they could show and the vacant Fast Forward in Trakai was a missed opportunity.

Anyway, seeing Latvia for the first time on TAR would be AMAZING.
Overall there are very many European countries that have only been visited once or twice - most a very long time ago. I'd rather see those countries featured once more than another Germany/France/Italy/UK/etc.

Any baltic countries in this season would be great. I hope they visit Riga though since they haven't visit in TAR yet. TAR really need to visit the rarely visited locale in Europe since another UK/France/Italy/Netherlands/Germany/Switzerland/Austria leg might get overwhelming by TAR fans.

If they wanna do Baltic, I'll keep my finger cross for Helsinki, Finland - Tallinn, Estonia combo leg. With a pit stop in Finland so Finland can finally owned its pit stop finally. <333

And next leg, they can either move on to Lithuania/Latvia OR explore another part of Finland that we hadn't got chance to see yet. (Summer in Lapland, Turku, etc.)

So right now Logan and Chris are safe until leg 4.
Also, teams are bus to airport? Or bus somewhere and and take taxi to airport?
We might get pics later if people catch them at the airport.

Destination is Africa, not fully confirmed yet

I'm also hoping for airport pics, but there don't seem to be many fans in Argentina.

I think teams might be taking the bus back to BsAs - since they came to Areco by bus, too - or another airport and then leaving from there.

From the Sightings thread.........
There have been some posts seen recently that seem to suggest ZAMBIA as a possibility....

If this is the case, then teams will have to go back to Sao Paulo to catch a flight to J'Burg, South Africa. From there.....who knows. In TAR1, which is the last time I think TAR went to Zambia, teams flew in charters to near Victoria Falls and landed in Botswana. Then they drove their own vehicles around.

Since Chris & Logan are the only team spotted in Leg 4, at some airport in South America, does this mean they were left behind and are on the last flight to their next destination? I'm confused. ???

Chris & Logan were spotted running to a bus stop in San Antonio de Areco, Argentina. No info on airports.

No one knows why they were the only team spotted - maybe they went a different way, maybe they are way ahead or way behind, maybe they got lost. There could be a million reasons. The guy also said it was raining, so maybe others took a cab or sth.

Oh! :o So there seems to be a chance that they got the Leg 3 boot.

Also, got this from the Timeline and Spoiler Summary thread:
Did we manage to figure out where Luiz's photo of the computer terminal and counter was taken? I'm trying to decide between this:

22 Jun   Los Angeles
23 Jun   Leg 1: Rio de Janeiro
24 Jun   Leg 2: Rio de Janeiro
25 Jun   -
26 Jun   Leg 3: Buenos Aires/San Antonio de Areco
27 Jun   -
28 Jun   Travel
29 Jun   Leg 4: Africa

and this:

22 Jun   Los Angeles
23 Jun   Leg 1: Rio de Janeiro
24 Jun   -
25 Jun   Leg 2: Buenos Aires
26 Jun   Leg 3: San Antonio de Areco
27 Jun   -
28 Jun   Travel
29 Jun   Leg 4: Africa

My question: Where was Africa mentioned? ??? How come I have no memory of reading it as a confirmed location?

Africa was mentioned in the Live Sightings Thread. However, it is not fully confirmed. The person who sighted a team (Logan & Fazio) thinks they were heading to Africa. I'm thinking the person who saw them assumed they are heading to Africa?  ???
