Re: latest video at Pearson on Instagram.
Looks like domestic departures. The poster is from Edmonton. I asked him the gate they were headed to.

Air Canada international flights tonight: (just in case)
Copenhagen, Denmark
Frankfurt, Germany
Istanbul, Turkey
London, England
Dublin, Ireland

Most likely London or Dublin

If it's gate D something, it's domestic. International departs from E and F gates.

Too bad we can't see the departure gate of flights that already departed. Our only hope for int'l right now is domestic to Vancouver then to Asia/Australia (although there are direct flights from Toronto to Asia)

Sudbury is in Ontario canada

It's a mining city up north. If they went there, it'll almost certainly be something to do with its famous nickel mines (they give tours there, my family and I went down once when I was a kid)

Sudbury is in Ontario canada

It's about a 6 hour drive north of Toronto. The 10:55PM flight was a DH4 and held 74 passengers, the earlier flight at 6:55 only held 37. And  teams were on standby!!!

Im sure whatever task they have to do in Sudbury wont be able to start until  tomorrow morning anyway. So the team(s) that couldnt catch the flight tonight probably wont be too far behind.

I if you read all the twitter posts by Steve, one team got on the flight because of air Canada gold cards something like that. Interesting

So it appears the Magdalen Islands may have been the site of leg 5, with Fredericton being a brief stopover on the way there.

That's a Canadian destination I personally was hoping for when I saw they were starting in Quebec (or Gaspe). Visually, it has a landscape much like the Shetland Islands.

So I'm happy about this one :)

Wouldn't it be the other way around? They were seen at Halifax airport on Monday. Cap aux Meules also on Monday. Seen in Fredericton on Tuesday.

I'm sure it's more than that.

Personally :P Today I've been fixated on trying to find mentions and asking about the Dynamic Earth public nickel mines and the "big nickel" monument (since that is like THE thing for them to do in Sudbury. That and Science North), but so far I've come up empty on that one.

Though one of my witnesses said something about a rumour that they went there. It's a little outside the city, so they could easily go there undetected.

I'm thinking the route will end up like this
1 Canada
2-3 international
4-6 Canada
7-10 international
11- Canada

Lol the 1 2 3 4 format

Am playing catch up here, but this is the only thing I see on Fredericton and it was reported to be on Monday. Did I missing a sighting?

I found a couple of islands residents on Twitter, I'll ask if they saw anything to do with Amazing Race a few days ago :)

One is a French-speaker, but I understand the language.

Detour in the Laurentian University is a choice between (based on the tweet)

Analyze - real life game of Clue. Mystery murder solving?
Synchronize - done in the pool. 3m synchronized springboard jump ala TAR14 China leg?

So according to Saskvagabond, they've just turned up in Saskatoon. I can almost bet Edmonton will be next, it's just a hop away by air, and those 2 are the only major western cities yet to be visited.

If there's any more international legs, I guess they're going to bookend the season (beginning and end) rather than the 2-2-2-2 they did last year.

Spec
So were on leg 7?
If there are 5 boards....
Its not possible to have 5 teams left unless a a double elimination and 5 single eliminations occurred
If there was 6 boards...
Could the 1st 6 legs be elimination?

At leg 7 I'm thinking they have at least 7 teams left.

I could be wrong about the number of boards. There were lots of people about blocking my view and the chain link fence was hard to see through. I couldn't get closer either because, well, being an airport tarmac and all.

Could the Analyze Detour be similar to TARPH2's Detour? :P

"In Investigation, they would be briefed on how to correctly identify and handle evidence in a crime scene. After being briefed, the teams would be brought to a mock-up crime scene and in addition to drawing a chalk marking around the victim, correctly identify evidence found relating to the crime and number them. If they correctly identified all the evidence, they would be given their next clue. Otherwise, they would have to be briefed again and redo the task. "
