My personal ranking of this week's performances.
1. Joey Cook
She held me captivated the entire song. I really felt her emotions, with all her quirkiness living in a mad world.
2. Clark Beckham
Loved it that he didn't choose a typical big ballad that just shows his voice, but a beautiful, sincere arrangement of Sunday Morning that gave me a first glimpse of his emotions.
3. Jax
The song suited her quirky voice indeed! Really enjoyed her simple performance this time round.
4. Adanna Duru
It was good, nothing fantastic, but certainly better than many sub-standard performances tonight.
5. Nick Fradiani
I'm enjoying him breaking out of his shell more and more! Agree that there's not much substance to the song but I thought the nature of it really suited his voice.
6. Quentin Alexander
Pitchy, but he really felt the song.
7. Rayvon Owen
It was a decent arrangement but incredibly boring. He's just coasting through each week.
8. Tyanna Jones
Pitchy and indeed, she tried too hard. I hope she survives, though.
9. Maddie Walker
The whole performance was just stiff, unnatural, robotic and boring. She might be in trouble tonight but I still hope she stays and sings a ballad.
10. Daniel Seavey
That was... Not good. Week after week I feel he should be gone yet I'm not surprised he's still here 'cos of his age and cuteness. But he really needs to step up to the competition and his competitors.
Perhaps Maddie and Rayvon will be in trouble next week? Still don't think they should have used the Save on Qaasim. Meh.
