They just need to cast 11 teams of Blair and Hayley, with some guys being the crazy ones, and some girls being the crazy ones.. for a season of crazy unexpected outcomes LOL

To be honest, that's a bad idea. :umn: We need boring teams to get the first boots, and the cast needs to be as diverse as possible.

We had no all-female team on TAR26 and I didn't mind it, but let's hope we have a good all-female team this season

TAR without non-elimination legs.  :grins: So we will have 14 teams (or 15 teams if final 4 like last 2 seasons)  :grins:

I feel like if they were to do that, it would more likely be 12 teams and over 10 episodes (or 11 if there's a TBC) . Any more teams and the cast would just be too big.

I think they will do it like half teams with pre-existing rel and half teams put together by single applicants. I dont think there will be any love element in these 'artificial' teams. I didnt like how Phil was pushing teams into romance.

But it would be interesting to develop this idea of two complete strangers travelling around the world. I'd be fine with 5 - 6 blind teams... for example two very young and naďve ladies with no travel experience, 20-ish + 50-ish strange guys, two army veterans with big muscles, experienced pro traveller with someone who have never been outside the US... no love involved.

Do you like this idea?

Because Phil liked fan favorites
I'm thinking the theme could be teams with newbies paired with all stars.

That would be pretty unfair because the All Star teams would have experienced the stress of the race and be more prepared for it, unlike the newbies who don't know what to expect.

I think what alltsa meant was take one All-Star and pair them off with a newbie, resulting in 11 teams made up of an All-Star and Newbie on each.  :)

That might actually work, but some teams might not want to do the race without their original partners.

Keep in mind that TAR 27 is casted and ready to go.

Standard season with a couple of blind daters is my spec. :)

Do you think they may skip Africa? They had quite some coverage in TAR 25 and 26.

Can you confirm or deny whether these "blind daters" are singles looking for love like S26, or random people, E.g. an Older Gradma with a Younger Male?

 . Well I think the "blind dates" twist is still exist on but not to be specifically in love. Maybe:

1) A widow(er) old people who wish to reunite with their biological son/daughter / young people who wish to reunite with their biological parents blind pairing team.
2) A disabled blind pairing team.
3) A cancer survival blind pairing team.
4) A former criminal/drug addict blind pairing team.
5) A job related blind pairing team.

Yeah, a couple of blind dates will be fine! But as nmccarroll91 says, I prefer random blind teams, instead of teams "looking for love".

On the CBS page: "This new season will film sometime between May and the end of July 2015".
They will start soon! *O*

Will we see a 6-5 split again? 6 normal teams and 5 blind daters? I'm hoping that there are only 2-3 blind date teams.

I hope blind-dates can replace the standard TAR dating team tbh considering how good the TAR26 ones were! (Minus the winners)

I'm thinking it is possible to have more female teams or strangers being paired up- non dating because of 26.

It would be funny if they casted 22 singles and put their names in a box. Then they pull 2 names at a time and make the teams that way. :funny:

Standard as in not all dating correct? See how the blind daters seemed to work out, I don't have a problem with one or two as a new relationship option under the understanding that they are a team of strangers working for a common goal. At least that's how I view it. The big issue I had with this season was it was all dating.
