TAR has been LEAPING to a 1.8 every week with DVR. Let's just hope that CBS tries to show the show more! (A 90 minute well-edited better premiere along BEFORE Survivor would be neat!)

Hopefully rating is still doing OK. I want TAR to live longer, at least till they made all-star 3.0 or whatever they call.    But I like having TAR on Friday, since at my location I can watch it freely on Saturday!

But really, this schedule is atrocious for CBS.

Madame Secretary+Good Wife do NOT make ratings gold on Sundays, and now CSI: Crapber (should have been cancelled ) is on it too. TAR24 was lowly-rated, yes, but it was still doing better numbers than the three aforementioned shows at the time.

Probably last days of this month or first days of June. TAR25 started filming on May 31st.

The Amazing Race has already been renewed for season 27. Have you discussed what the next cycle could look like?

Yeah, we've been talking about different ideas and we've been listening to the fans. We're always brainstorming about different things we can do absolutely.

 Next season, Survivor is giving power to the fans in determining the cast by an all-fan vote. Could that be something Amazing Race does in the foreseeable future?

It was something that I had suggested a while ago. The Survivor fans were probably saying the same things our fans have been saying, "Let us pick." That was something that we absolutely discussed in the past.

 But that's still on the table?

Yeah, we haven't locked in what our idea [for season 27] is going to be but we're always looking for ideas. This whole dating idea of mashing people who don't know each other came from the fans. It's been something the fans have talked about for 10 years so we are listening to our fans.

Took this from peach's post at TAR 26 Media. If TAR27 becomes a player pick season, hopefully they take teams from all the seasons, because otherwise I would think that another returning team season is too early.

I think they need a Tar 25 esque cast and route with Brooke and claire .

Phil has thrown hints here and there about fan favorites, so I guess the next returning-cast season will come sooner than we expect....

I'm hoping for a NZ Leg in the south island this season. It's just about winter and they should go to Queenstown for a winter leg.

I think they'll stop the F4-Finale twist for a while. Then maybe, they'll bring up F5 in the penultimate leg with the F4 elimination in the finale.
