Well, somehow they showed the top 24 RIGHT in the beginning of the audition, so I think I'll skip until the top 24 performs. Because I think that really dropped the fun factor of wondering whether this contestant will move on or not. Right after I heard the top 24 performed, I directly looked for the news and what I'd found was the top 24 leaked out. :groan:

But I have to say that this season has promising talents and I'll be waiting for their live performance, because that's when the truth shows up.

And somebody still ask me why I stop watching it...  :groan:

AI hasn't been good in years  :'( :'( :'(

I would recommend everyone watch Empire instead, I saw the Pilot and it is an amazing drama about the music industry! <3

Our DVR recorded AI but I really had no inclination to watch it until today when there was nothing on that i wanted to watch. To my surprise, I enjoyed it. they have changed the format a bit introducing the top 24 as Kamineko mentioned. Of course we don't really know who they are but they all seemed like they had potential unlike other years when we had to watch cannon fodder get the boot.

I was impressed with a lot of the guys and girls and watching 3 hours wasn't bad at all. (Zooming past commercials makes it a lot easier!)   :conf:

I think this will be a good season!

I'll wait for the LIVE shows. I'm kinda different from everyone as I really dislike auditions.

I did watch the auditions in New York City when Adam Lambert substituted as a judge with JLo and Harry, and he was am excellent judge, btw, even tougher than the others.

They also had a lot of talented people go through to Hollywood week out of the NY auditions. I don't know who the top 24 end up being (did not watch the first week at all) but I am given the impression that the judges are doing a much better job of having the people with some potential and talent get to Hollywood week and not try to weed out those who might beat out a producer favorite (something Simon and Company were infamous for, especially in the early seasons.)
