Hopefully some of you from Aus and NZ can update LIVE.
 
To protect those of us who may not be able to watch right away, ANY SPOILERS ESPECIALLY RE ELIMINATIONS should only be discussed in this thread and the weekly EPISODE threads!
 
NO SPOILERS in the contestant threads please! Put Elimination Interviews here for now.

Teams are losing time at the currency exchange while Ashleigh & Jarrod and Carla & Hereni did not wait there. The NZ team leads and the "bogans" are in second place while the others await the currency exchange.

Ash & Jarrod are lost and don't know the exact locaations.

They know they must be last.

It is Sally and Daniel performing this one in fact, just as Ash & Jarrod show up but they are in third with the NZ mums not here yet.

Ashleigh is also performing.

Tango or Tribute Detour!

Tango: Argentina is the birthplace of the tango! In tango teams must learn a tango dance routine.

Tribute: In Tribute, teams will get clues leading them to two landmarks - Ivita's grave and Diego Maradona's home stadium - to get their clue.

Tyson needs another bathroom break...

They have to decode the locations from a book and figure out the Bombonera on a page and they must go to the stadium of Boca Juniors.

Daniel & Ryan and Carla & Hereni are still lost en route to the dramatic bookstore.

Carla & Hereni are stuck in traffic.

Daniel & Ryan get to the bookstore in third and will argue over this one - Daniel wants Tango, Ryan wants Tribute. Daniel agrees to go to Tribute eventually.

Carla & Hereni are still in traffic and leave their taxi and walk the rest of the way and get to the bookstore.

Carla & Hereni still looking for that book.

Daniel & Ryan are gonna switch to Tango because of the traffic it seems.

Sally & Tyson arrive at the La Bombonera and find a Diego Maradona lookalike and gives them a clue in Spanish. They get help. It translates to "find in the book, the hospital where Diego Maradona was born and come back with the answer".

They go inside to ask people and they Google the answer but now Sally & Tyson are GOING THERE instead of telling the answer.

Ashleigh & Jarrod commence their tango learning practice.

They're learning the routine while Daniel & Ryan arrive at the Boca Juniors stadium and get the Spanish clue. But they can't decode it just yet.

Sally & Tyson are back at the stadium and give the answer to the man and need to point it out in the book.

Sally & Tyson don't want to help Daniel & Ryan over there.

The two teams have locals scanning the book for the location.

Meanwhile Ashleigh & Jarrod are dancing again and stuff up - back for another rehearsal.

Looks like Carla & Hereni switched when they couldn't find the book? I must have missed that earlier.

Meanwhile the two teams are looking for the name of the hospital in the book. And Sally & Tyson find it!



They get a picture of Evita and they have a poem directing them to the cemetery!

They get their clue and are done with the Detour!

Travel by taxi to the Argentina Rowing Club and row yourselves to the next Pit Stop - the Tigre Club! This is the Pit Stop for the 9th leg of the race and the last team to check in here may be eliminated!

I saw it too. They said from the start 6 continents, 10 countries. Argentina made 5 and 9, so the final leg had to partially take part in North America.

It was sad to see Carla & Hereni go, would've been good to have at least one NZ team in the finale.

Agreed!

South America works SO much better at the end of a race and they hardly use it so I was really happy with this leg.

I quite liked Dubrovnik too, but with the leg structure and the geographical nature of things, Dubrovnik should have been before Lisbon, Dubrovnik should have been the NEL and Lisbon the elimination. It makes far more logistical sense. :crazy:

Very true - although I can't imagine why Los Angeles doesn't get its own leg considering we only got a 10-leg race and they are flying so far out of their way to go to Los Angeles just for a partial leg. :lol:

This season hasn't made much sense from a logistical viewpoint, but it's been fun to watch. :lol:

Can I say that the girls' taxi driver had a main part of their elimination? From what I was seeing, he gave them a "tour" through Buenos Aires, taking advantage they're foreigners. I recognized at least five different places located in the opposite direction where they should go.  :gaah:

Wow,very surprised to see the finale being aired next Thursday!
So,we'll have the TARCan finale on Sunday,then the Australian finale and the TAR 25 premiere on Friday...What a busy TAR week!

Now,talking about the episodes,it was really sad to see Cat & Jesse go home. I wanted them to win,they were my favorites by far.
And I felt sorry for Carla & Hereni too. To bad there will be no NZ teams in the finale.

The Top 3 teams had a lot of luck along the way. Sally & Tyson were almost eliminated in the first episode and they would be if it wasn't for Inga & Tiharna's stupid mistake. Daniel & Ryan were almost sure of elimination TWICE and all of a sudden they survived somehow. Ashleigh & Jarrod were saved by a NEL.

I think it will be an exciting finale. The 3 teams have about the same chance and the competition seem leveled. I will root for Sally & Tyson,as I don't like the other 2 teams. Ashleigh & Jarrod are arrogant and annoying and Daniel & Ryan are hypocrits and sometimes crybabes.

Argentine Tango is my most favorite dance. The Tango by Ash & Jarred was terrible. No tango spirit at all.

Carla & Hereni tried to practice and made it so fun.

Every team made fatal mistake this leg, that make it great episode.
