We begin with a recap of last leg (6 teams rolled into Romantic France). U turns highlighted. Couple rebounded to finish fourth and they show the engagement. Hockey wins 6th leg. Au Revoir to the Twins. Intro.

This is France, city of light, 44 million ppl explore the 20 districts. Today its the ninth starting point. 326am HOckey. Fly to Montreal. Capital of former New France. One of the largest French speaking communities.

Competition is getting close - Natalie. Its almost getting to the end.

SJ 6:41 Am hockey had a 3 hour gap!! Its Jinder's birthday today.

MP depart at 7:55am

AA kiss an depart at 8:08 am, they are from Montreal.

Suhki has a pagent in Montreal as MS BC lol. 305 Euros for this leg for the race.

RR depart. Audrey tells Meghan that she got engaged and they hug.

All the teams hugging AA, MP asks can we come to the wedding? LOL all of you are invited.

SJ show up and RR say Oh no LOL>

All teams on their way to Montreal, teams will get next clue at prioity check in counter at the montreal airport.

Mad race to find it. Hockey first there (who else) lol

Make your way to the Mirabel old airport, to Circuit ICAR (50 km away).

Jinder uses Spanish  LOL

AA are in first, and their title changed to engaged lol

Roadblock: WHo can turn on a dime? Precision driving a cheverolet camero ss. Quarter drift, 90 degree turn without spinning. Reverse 180 turn. Once both are done correctly teams will get next clue. Alain is doing it. Meghan doing the rb.

Alain is a stunt performer and this is his line of work lol. Alain fails quarter drift 3 times.

Jinder does the rb.

Meghan fails the QD part of rb twice. three times.

Natalie: THis is scary lol

Jinder gets into the car.

Mickey gets the first task done.

Hockey at Atwell market.

They can't find the clue.

FF: Make your parisian laundry.

Hockey allows them to do it.

ALL 5 teams can do the FF including AA (on bottom of clue!)

Detour: Age old art or age old cheese.

Flamed: Gallery try 3000 year old technqiue glass fire. Watch demonstration melt glass rods to match necklace.

Grilled: 10 sandwiches with diff cheeses. They will run 50m metres to cheese truck and identify the cheese.

Hockey at cheese.

Hockey says this will be hard.

RR stuck in traffic. AA pass RR and MP on their way to Atwell

SJ also stuck in traffic. 

AA MP RR doing the cheese task.

RR says lets do ff in the taxi. So they are going to do it.

AA says it says same. They switch detours. Meghan: Grilled cheese can cost someone half a million dollars! lol

FF:  Bare it all and allow artists sketch.  Remove clothing in stages to nude.

RR now at FF.

They are both posing for the artists.

AA at  the glass detour.

MP go to the truck to try the cheese.

They all taste the same and are wrong !

Hockey does the trial for the detour.

Meghan you screwed me up to Natalie.

Jinder:How will we explain this to mom and dad. This is the most awk thing.

SJ we are almost done, get out of here. lol

First time for me of watching TAR Canada 2 without reading the live thread first

Loved the episode, esp Mickey and Pete with their one-liners (gouda ;P ). I guess I have a soft spot for them. 

Jon is definitely my favourite TAR host! Love that he is as excited about the tasks as the racers are. Plus: Did you see his "eybrows acting" when he described the Fast Forward?

Not just that, but did anyone catch the teacher's clue strategically covering up the model in the background as the camera swung around?  I just watched it again. It's funny the things you miss the first time. All joking aside, I am glad it was for the FF, and that teams didn't HAVE to do it.

I don't like the way they put FF after the RB because the other teams actually only did Detour, find another clue and go to the Pit Stop. I know both Detour tasks are hard but it's still unbalanced, in my opinion.

Yeah, that was a weirdly-designed leg. Go to the Metro to find a clue saying to go to the Pit Stop. No Route Marker task. Considering the greeter was a performer from Cirque du Soleil, that would have a perfect premise for one in Montreal (Family Edition did when they went there)

yes, I thought it was odd too. It was like a third easier option. All you had to do was stand there, and well, take your clothes off. But there was no running around, figuring things out or getting frustrated. And it may not have assured you a first place finish. They looked like 20 minute sketches to me ...X 3.

Maybe it was just me but I think editing screwed up slightly in this Episode.  In the scene where teams were running around the airport, just before they started to run, it looked like production had them all lined up, waiting for someone to tell them to go.
I know production re-shoot certain things to make it more dramatic / entertaining for the viewers, but I just think they could have done a better job of hiding it. 

Apart from that, this episode was pretty good.

i like them at first, i thought they were a strong team, but they are boring and often at back of the pack. If they win like Tim & Tim last season i will be disappointed

Ideal Final 3 would be Natalie/Meghan, Sukhi/Jinder, & Mickey/Pete.

I thought the tasks were okay, but they could have done a better job of highlighting Montreal. Nothing distinguished it...it could have been anywhere. Like the Vancouver leg last year...I hope they have a re-do at some point.
