The train from Oxford to Aberdeen has only two stops as Scott posted, plus with the ferry to Shetland Islands waiting five hours long. Shetland Islands has two airports, Sumburgh Airport is the archipelago's main airport and flies to major UK cities, including Aberdeen, Glasgow and Edinburgh. While the other airport (Lerwick/Tingwall) serves destinations only throughout small towns in Shetland Islands.

Leg 4 transport (Lerwick, Shetland Islands, Scotland > Malmo, Sweden)

Guessing on flights, based on timing of the pic by Freya (http://web.stagram.com/p/737689763319279454_224656434)

Leave Lerwick Friday for Aberdeen. (BA 4075, 13:35-14:35)
Aberdeen to London on Friday (BA 1313, 16:45-18:15, or BA 1315, 18:30-19:55)
Spend the night in London, then flight BA 814 to Copenhagen today, 09:55-12:50, which arrived today at 12:30, as per http://www.cph.dk/en/flight-info/arrivals

Alternatively, they could've done ferry/train back to London.  Regardless, I think flight 814 is how they got to Copenhagen.

Here's the earliest flight to Copenhagen: British Airways (BA) 812, 0728 (6/7) - 1008 (6/7)

Train to Malmo: R1036, 1026-1046 from Kastrup Airport to Malmo Central

Sorry, I had time zones confused.  I think it was BA 820 from London to Copenhagen...arrived 18:37, pic was uploaded at 18:44.  Don't know for sure how they got to London.  Of course, this is all assuming pic got posted right after it was taken.  Who knows?

Taking the earliest flight makes sense...we should just assume that freyaries waited to upload, perhaps.

I think they drove from CPH to Malmo.  It only takes 27 min according to Google maps.  See the Ford Focus in these shots:

Earliest flight from London to Copenhagen is U2 3091 7:00am-9:32 am.

I agree with Chateau.........cars from Kladstrup International to Malmo.

I haven't check ferry schedules yet, but this looks like a prime place for the old moving pit stop. That gives Phil plenty of time to skip ahead.

DrRox, EasyJet (U2) doesn't fly between in/out of London-Heathrow, but it flies only four London Airports (Gatwick, Luton, Southend and Stansted).

Leg 4 started at around early afternoon on June 6 (Friday), teams are likely to fly to Copenhagen.

Loganair (LOG) 6996, LSI-EDI, 1605-1744 (scheduled 1605-1730)
British Airways (BA) 1463, EDI-LHR, 1955-2111 (scheduled 1935-2100)
Spend the night at London Heathrow Airport to find the earlier BA flight to Copenhagen
British Airways (BA) 812, LHR-CPH, 0728+1-1008+1 (scheduled 0710+1-0955+1)

This has ruled out and I agree with DrRox, see the post below for the ferry schedules.

I think Phil, Bertram and the production crew left Shetland Islands by the morning of June 6th to Copenhagen:

Loganair (LOG) 6992, LSI-EDI, 0740-1000 (scheduled 0740-0905)
British Airways (BA) 1443, EDI-LHR, 1152-1324 (scheduled 1155-1325)
British Airways (BA) 818, LHR-CPH, 1513-1800 (scheduled 1430-1720)

Were teams spotted at Heathrow? Also, why cant they fly from Stansted. It is a lot closer to the Shetland Islands than Heathrow. Teams may not be allowed to fly on Easy Jet. We don't know. My main gripe was someone said the first flight from London to Copenhagen was the BA flight.. which is not true.

As I said above, it will be interesting to see if Production used the moving pit stop ferry ride, like they did in the recent TAR 23. I would suspect that would give teams a long time to search the internet for quickest way to Copenhagen.

Stanstead is closer to the Shetland Islands, as Newark is closer to Hawaii than either LaGuardia or JFK

Leg 4 in which teams likely ferry from Lerwick to Aberdeen, and plane to Copenhagen (June 6-7):

Ferry to Aberdeen (6/6), 1730-0700+1 (via Kirkwall)

Flights to Copenhagen (6/7):
British Airways (BA) 1303, ABZ-LHR, 0834+1-1016+1
Scandinavian Airlines (SK) 502, LHR-CPH, 1251+1-1531+1

Without direct evidence of the departing flight(s), I think one needs to be careful about assuming which itinerary teams might have taken between locations. We don't know when teams departed the previous pit stop, and we don't know if teams have restrictions or directions concerning their flights.

That has always been the case, theschnauzers. This thread, especially during filming is to find all the potential/possible routes and then discard the ones that don't fit.  We probably wont have enough data till the preview of the episode or even the episode itself to find the exact route.

Dr Rox, my comments were directed towards the way that particular post was worded, and the apparent assumptions that certain of the information was conclusive.

There's a lot of uncertainty about exactly how teams got back to Copenhagen from the Shetlands and assuming that there was a nighttime task after the Shetlands in Copenhagen, then how and when teams got to Morocco.

I wanted to remind some that we need to collect all viable alternatives based on what little we actually know and not make undue assumptions.

Well I never ever take anything in this thread as conclusive unless we have a sighting of a team on a particular flight........

claude just worked backward from the first report in Marrakech of the teams and found possible flights they could have used.  A 4:00pm sighting in Marrakech really narrows down potential flights. Most of the flights/connections from Europe arrive after 6 pm.......

Leaving the Shetlands if a little more problematic. Teams arrived on the ferry at 7:30am on June 5th. It appears the pit stop was at that lighthouse at Esha Ness in the afternoon. It is about a 90 minute drive back to Lerwick from there. I thought that would be perfect to get teams back on the ferry and have Phill fly out. that sort of gives him a 12 hour head start. Now it appears that the teams probably spent the night in Lerwick and spent the next day at the library. If Leg 3 was an elimination....that leaves 8 teams to go to Copenhagen. Most of Loganair's planes are Saab 340s, 34 passenger turbo props. 8 teams is 32 people, but the Loganair flights to Aberdeen are on Saab 2000 which hold 58 people...so plenty of room for teams. I am assuming that production booked seats way ahead of time. This is afternoon of the 6th. IF there was a nighttime task in Copenhagen on the 6th, then teams could have flown directly to Copenhagen from Aberdeen on Cimber QA 1522 arriving in Copenhagen at 9:36pm. That one photo of the mother/daughter team in the airport in Copenhagen was posted at 11:44 am on the 7th of June sort of messes with that timeline.
