The only people I dislike the most are Ahran, Cutter, Christian, & Francis B.

I don't think I've been this sad at a reality show elimination in a long time. Tyler wasn't even one of my favourites... But at least Jaimee survived.

One question that has been making me curious is: "were the contestants ever got any recipe?"

I mean, recreating dishes that complex without any recipe, even you're a high skilled chef is pretty hard! I've been watching MasterChef Australia, and whenever they have to recreate a dish, they always given a recipe.

Also, I think the pressure tests from MasterChef US are pretty basic, compared to the pressure tests from MasterChef Australia with these extravagant and really complex dishes.

This cast is miles better than Season 4's. Season 4 was full of cardboard cutouts. Jaimee's in my bottom three of the season and I was rooting for her to find her missing panna cotta. Here's another beloved cast ranking of mine for the entire board to hate:

FRANCIS L: Oh. My. God. He is perfect. I can't even generate a complaint. He better win, and I think he has a great chance of doing so.

AHRAN: She's such a b*tch I love it <3

CHRISTIAN: I honestly don't really know why. He hasn't done anything wrong, though. He stands up for himself when Leslie decides to be Leslie.

ELIZABETH: Perfect mix of calm/collected and catty. More please.

COURTNEY: She is in eternal fifth place unless her character changes.

DANIEL: Visually appealing.

FRANCIS B.: Talented cook; not irritating.

ELISE: Very sweet, but barely has a presence on the show.

VICTORIA: Like Elise, except slightly less sweet.

DAN: Where did he go? Whatever. He got better when he was invisible anyways.

CHRISTINE: Her voice sounded foreign when she finally had her first confessional of the season (?).

WILLIE: Obvious winner is obvious. I hate obvious winners / people the audience is forced to like.

JAIMEE: I felt bad for her this episode, but she's being forced down our throats as the person to root for. I can never appreciate someone like that.

LESLIE: Thank goodness he did nothing this episode

CUTTER: Why is he even here?

LUCA: The fact that he appeared on my television screen made me angry.

I'm so sad. I'm rooting for Tyler from the beginning because I know he is very good at protein. At first, I think he will be screwed because of dessert tonight but going home because of that mistake is just so sad.

I think next week, Dan & Cutter, Christian & Francis B are in the bottom. Dan or Christian goes home.

Did anyone notice these patterns on the show?

1. If you're NOT being interviewed in the episode, you're safe for until the next episode.
2. If you're being interviewed (post-scene or by the judges) while in Mystery Box challenge, then you'll probably ended being in the top 3.
3. If you're highlighted from the beginning of the show, you'll probably will go far.
4. If you're highlighted in the specific episode (for example: many interviews shown) although in the previous episodes you're just "invisible", then something probably will happen to you (either win a challenge or eliminated).
5. In a team challenge, when it comes to deciding the menu, one team must have a smooth decision making (the team captain will decide the menu), and the other team will have struggle to decide the menu (the team members other than the captain will decide the menu).

I'll think of more patterns as I watch more episode.

I think both Jordan and Tyler had the first confession of the episode when they were eliminated. It's not true to Astrid, Whitney or Kira. Kira even do not any confession until she was eliminated, I think.

Kira had her reaction *pretty* highlighted and had a little bit of confession when she lifted the mystery box filled with live seafood.

I'm shocked of Francis B leaving, too because I think I see him in the future challenge. I though that Dan or Christian going home. But when the judges gave praise for Dan and Christian. I know he going.

Funny how each team is gender dominated. Hoping Dan goes home next as he is the only one that I don't like on the blue team.

Seems to next week, not all of losing team members will cook but only three. Cutter, Leslie 100% in Pressure test. Dan may be in it, too because I see the long hair. I think Dan is going home.
Cutter is seen in Chocolate Truffles Pressure test challenge and get praise.
Ahran is next to Cutter in that challenge.
Willie is seen in Chicken Challenge when Gordon shows his skill.
Courtney is seen in Apple Mystery Box Challenge.
Also, we will see Salmon challenge (they must fillet it then cook, I think. I saw Gordon shows his skill and also Joe made a kind of picnic table to taste the dish). There is a challenge where we see a lot of chefs in Dinner room of Master Chef Kichen. There is a kind of team challenge in Stadium, I think but I don't remember from which video I've seen it.

Leslie should see himself why everyone hates him. Every time he is thrown down, he blames the others for hating him but never think it is his own mistake.

For individual: Cutter and Elise is the worst. They should go next.
They don't show much about Christine but this episode shows that she has a leadership and she can cook (many contestants think that so it must be something).
Leslie is good as individual but bad as a team player even if he is a leader or not. I wonder if it is not Daniel but Gordon who check the food, would he be pissed because of yelling for bad egg dishes.
