Yes we do this was taken directly out of Episode 5 thread

Looks like this leg ends in a TBC, taken from the tv guide for September 1:

With no rest period between legs, teams are still racing and heading for central Russia. After a long train trip they face a testing nation v nation challenge. Teams from the losing nation face the very real prospect of being eliminated. The last team to the mat surprises all, but will a twist at the pit stop save them from elimination?

Still haven't got any media info specifically for this leg whatsoever though  (:;)

I'm not sure what they mean by central Russia, but I'll go out on a limb and say teams alight from the Trans-Sib at Neya, which is a stone's throw from the North Hope Sled Dog Center at Kotkishevo. Reposting this video from earlier.

So I'm guessing this means that we won't be getting a full leg in either North America or Argentina?

Grant said ten legs - if this is a Double-length leg (As I believe it is, because J/M didn't get a prize!), this means next week is Leg 5-2, and we still have five legs (and four more countries) left to watch. I don't think 7 have confirmed a finale date yet!

It couldn't be. I saw on Amazing Race Wikia page, that the end of Leg 5 has a no-rest Pit Stop. Since TAR18, the tradition of using a no-rest leg is giving an advantage on winning a leg or nothing.

Based on the history of TAR Aus Season 1, a double-length leg that featured two pit stops is still counted as two legs. I guess we may have the combinations of Siberia-Croatia, Croatia-Portugal, Portugal-North America, and North America-Argentina left as combined into one leg, since nobody have spotted a pit stop in these places. Hopefully it will not be the combination of Portugal-North America (like Season 2 France-Cuba), or North America-Argentina (the worst case scenario).

Maybe we will get two location  in the final leg (happened in Season 1 with Sri Lanka - Singapore - Australia and 2 with Beijing - Guilin - Australia) . So it would probably be North America - Argentina - Australia.

I think there's a very high chance the race will end with a 2 location final leg (which will cover the longest route ever in TAR history!)

I don't know but from 17th to 20th, did they have enough time for 2 legs because we had a leg in Kostroma.

Dubrovnik is confirmed to be after Lisbon!

Next week (Sep 15) is also due to be another double episode, so presumably it will also air the North American leg ???

I'm guessing the fast forward is another head shaving one and Daniel & Ryan win it because of their picture that was captured during the final leg.

Also Kostroma is in the middle of [vulgar word of choice] nowhere in Russia. It will take quite a while to fly out to Portugal.

I just did a quick calculation of the route and assuming the Las Vegas sighting is correct. it's about 72,000km but i'm just looking at point A to point B when it comes to flights so with flights it may be longer.

Argentina (Buenos Aires) is confirmed after Dubrovnik according to Oval's post in Episode 8 Discussion thread.

Ok, so I have a theory for what the "Bomb" at Leg 8's Pit Stop is most likely going to be.  Not sure if its already been said, but according to Wikipedia, there's a Fast Forward next Leg, and based on the new promo, I'm guessing it will involve shaving your head.  Having seen the spoiler photos from the Final Leg, Daniel & Ryan have significantly shorter hair, pretty much bald infact.
So, I'm assuming they go for the FF, and the "Bomb" will be the big (loss of hair) reveal to the other teams.  This is a pretty lackluster "Bomb" if you ask me, but going by TAR Oz's history, they tend to over hype upcoming events.  I.e: Leg 2's "Drama at the Pit Stop after one team breaches the rules."  :groan:

Yea, but they made it sound like it was going to be something huge, when it was just an unpaid taxi.  Something we see on a regular basis.
