Just watched TARAUS2 - amazing!!! Easily one of the best seasons of Amazing Race I've ever seen. I liked the CAN1 cast, and obviously a few American seasons, but wowza, BOOM! from Michelle/Jo was just so adorable, I couldn't get enough of them and Lucy/Emilia. So glad it's coming back for a third season and great that those of us in the USA can see what life from the New Zealander perspective is like!

Ugh, that's awful to hear! Is it even possible to purchase the DVD of season 1? I just got a new job that I have a little play money, and wouldn't mind if that's what it came to.

Either filming will begin really soon or they are putting it off until September (really unlikely as that would clash with TAR25)

Slightly off topic. You know that Big Adventure show which we thought would be a replace TARAu. That's still going ahead.

The third season is to be produced in-house by Seven and sees Aussie teams compete against teams from New Zealand. The change in producers is understood to be part of a cost saving by the network, which prides itself on internal productions.

Retaining Bowler in the hosting position will keep some synchronicity for the audience.

Shooting is expected to begin in March, travelling to more international territories.

Some interesting points to note about Season3:

1. Produced locally by Channel Seven (cost saving).
2. A mix of Australian and New Zealand contestants.
3. Expected March filming!
