Here are the others (please fill in the gaps everyone!):

Season 1, Leg 1 (Zambia): Roadblock that involved cooking an ostrich egg. Both team members then had to eat it.
Season 5, Leg 8 (Dubai): Roadblock that involved buying nuts from a market and delivering them to a ship.
Season 5, Leg 13 (Canada): Task that involved choosing to buy either a jacket or gloves for use in the rest of the leg.
Season 5, Leg 13 (Canada): Roadblock that involved building a teepee outside Banff Springs Hotel.
Season 10, Leg 4 (Vietnam): Yield at the Hydrofoil Harbor was unaired, presumably due to no one using it.
Season 10, Leg 7 (Mauritius): Roadblock was present, but unknown.
Season 11, Leg 7 (Poland): Roadblock involved rowing into the reflecting pool in the middle of the palace. Other details are not known.
Season 12, Leg 5 (Lithuania): Fast Forward was present at Trakai Island Castle, but was unused.
Season 13, Leg 3 (Bolivia): Task at Mercado Rodrigues, details unknown.
Season 14, Leg 7 (Thailand): Fast Forward involved buying items for a local orphanage, but was not taken.
Season 14, Leg 9 (China): Task involved climbing the Peak of the Luminous Moon and playing the 'Drums of Life'.
Season 14, Leg 10 (China): Jaime & Cara won jetskis for coming 1st at the midpoint, but this was not mentioned on air.
Season 15, Leg 4 (Cambodia): The first prize was motorcycles and was awarded to Zev & Justin before they realised they were missing their passports.
Season 15, Leg 11 (Czech Republic): Brian & Erika incurred a 30 minute penalty for writing down the letters during the Roadblock. This did not affect their placement.

Season 19
Core Pacific Mall Route Marker
Bukit Indah Hotel in Indonesia

Don't forget that scene we saw with Jenna and Ethan crawling over some weird stuff through a narrow dark corridor. We still don't know what was that!

Cocoa,

I believe I can help, although have a few different interpretations of what should go in this list with what you have shown above. I went back to AR1 and found a lot of unused/unaired tasks in the early seasons, almost all Fast Forwards:

AR1, ep. 4 FF
AR1, ep. 6 FF
AR1, ep. 10 FF
AR3, ep. 8 FF
AR4, ep. 8 FF
AR5, ep. 8 ROADBLOCK buying nuts and deliver to ship
AR5, ep. 8 FF
AR5, ep. 13 ROADBLOCK building tepee in Banff
AR8, ep. 6 FF

You and Dom El have done a decent job from AR10 forward, so I will not repeat that. However, I ask you both to reconsider if an overnight stay at in the Green Room in Tokyo, in Wulff's Castle, in the Bukit Indah Hotel really constitute "unused and unaired" or are just what normally happens for most overnight stays (they are unused but almost always unaired since World Race Productions stopped doing "eat, sleep, mingle"). Core Pacific Mall route marker was used by the one team that had to do their SpeedBump there.

I think the main point Cocoa is looking for is things we could know racers did but that we have no news about them.

This was fully explained somewhere in the threads here, Lyn kindly gave us all the details.

That was something from their intro I believe, not a race task...

Wikipedia has an U-Turn in Sweden in TAR15, but I don't know if it's true... I havent seen it mentioned anywhere else...

and, are you including portions of tasks also not seen?? For example, in the Roadblock in Taiwan they had to buy a phone card or get a local to lend them their phone card so they can use the payphone and call Confucious.

How about this one from Season 11? It is from the Macau leg (Leg 11), but this has not been featured in the telecast. When does this task come in the picture?  :)

I've heard rumors of a U-Turn after the detour in TAR 17, ep. 7. This was said because the Detours were so close together and both were decently difficult. But these are only rumors.

In season 11, leg 13 they had to jump off of a cliff and also they had to visit the house of the Grateful Death or something like that..

Oh you have them already..gotta pay more attention ¬¬

But i also remember in season 2 when they used the snow cat, supposedly it was part of a detour but since none of the teams chose the other option it was edited as a simple task.

The fish task happened at the Ponte Cais Plaza on Coloane, where teams had to search the area for trays of dried fish, then hang them out to dry. It was raining, so by the end of the task all the fish got wet and had to be paid for by production...

I remember the TAR 1 Rome Fast Forward to be a search for the headquarters of the Knights of Malta on Aventine Hill, the gate of which had a keyhole that looked out towards the dome of St Peter. Tunisia had a Fast Forward involving a boat, but I don't think I read any more information about it.

Neobie,

The AR1 ep. 4 unaired/unused FAST FORWARD was a boat task from Tunis to Sidi Bou Said.

The AR1 ep. 6 one was indeed "Find the key to the arms of St. Peter's."

Neobie,

As your reference states, the Basilica of St. Peter's Cathedral is in the shape of a key. That means either that the FAST FORWARD would be hidden outside it (I consider this most likely) or inside it (with a capacity of 10,000 people it would take a while to search the inside space and I doubt that the Catholic hierarchy would have approved that).

Yes, body building was a Detour, as was the TinTin task. Because it was supposedly confusingly worded and no one could figure out how difficult it might be or the distances involved, the TinTin detour was not chosen.

Since it was a product placement, the TinTin Detour was changed by production to a Route Info...and everyone had to do it. Early.

That's pretty interesting about Tintin but is that fact? i find it hard to think that some of the teams who seemed uncomfortable with the speedo still did the bodybuilding...
regardless i think tintin was one of the better product placement tasks, had the movie not been made or whatever that task would have still been 100% culturally relevant. what would the task have been named i wonder... bodybuilding posedown or comicbook showdown? not really a showdown though...

is there a thread for tasks that i can pretend happened and just went unaired? such as collecting all of maria's favourite things before checking in at the villa trapp!! haha what an underused landmark >< or a mail sorting switchback roadblock for tar18

I was randomly looking at old promos for older TAR seasons. Did we have an unaired skydiving task on TAR8? Or is this our unaired Fast Forward in Costa Rica?

Promo starts at 19:22. Said task is on 19:40.

Someone recently discovered that the penultimate leg of season 7 in Jamaica had an Unaired Task that I don't believe anyone ever knew about.

The interesting thing is that this task was cut out of the original airing of this episode as well as every other version of the episode on all streaming services, up until TAR recently got added to Disney+ internationally. Apparently the editing of this episode on Disney+ is very different than anything that was originally aired and even includes the entire cut task in full!

I don't have Disney+ to watch this, plus it seems this version of the episode is only available internationally, but this is pretty fascinating. Makes you wonder if we'll ever get long lost new versions of old episodes that had cut tasks/missing scenes and if we'll ever get to see them in full one day?

Discussion on Reddit and Twitter:

Big update!

Someone kindly uploaded the cut task in it's entirety onto YouTube.

The entire sequence shows nearly 10-minutes of completely unaired never before seen footage, including brand new scenes not even pertaining to the cut task itself.

Going back and comparing this to the original airing and watching them side by side is really interesting and shows just how much editing has an impact on the show itself.

Actually someone did know about it. I remember someone who made a chart of every task up to like season 25 or something mentioned it and I always found it odd that no one else mentioned it

Edit: I wish I said something before, I never realized how big of a discovery it was lol

Fantastic find!

I can't believe I never actually read through the rest of this thread before... It seems like our quest to understand unaired stuff will never end

This is so insane watching! I understand why they cut the task as it wasn't very entertaining and it didn't really do much to the order of the teams, but I did enjoy watching it! I am very curious as of why CBS sold them this cut of the episode, but I am not complaining at all. This is another excuse for me to move to Canada now lol.

Does anyone have Disney+ (outside the US) and be willing to check a few episodes for me to see if certain tasks have been inserted?

As a Canadian, I'd be curious to see in season 5 if they put that unaired Banff section in the final leg.

Do you have Disney+ account? I'd also want to find out if the final task of the maze shows teams finding four wooden boxes or still just the one.

Big update!

Someone kindly uploaded the cut task in it's entirety onto YouTube.

The entire sequence shows nearly 10-minutes of completely unaired never before seen footage, including brand new scenes not even pertaining to the cut task itself.

Going back and comparing this to the original airing and watching them side by side is really interesting and shows just how much editing has an impact on the show itself.

https://youtube.com/watch?v=EoXUBZfffRA
So CBS has decided to not upload this version to Paramount+. Paramount+ just features the original episode, and doesn't even include the recap for S7, so the episode titles and descriptions for each episode from episode 7 and on are behind by a leg. Episode 11 (the 2 hour finale) has the title, "The Devil Made Me Do It" and the description talks about teams going from Turkey to London.

I am surprised this version wasn't on Paramount+, as CBS uploaded it on Disney+ (around the world) when it was on there. I still wonder if CBS has ever thought of releasing the footage of unaired tasks into episodes on Paramount+. No, they don't care.

I got confirmation directly from Bill that Joe did the unaired Roadblock in the first Poland leg of (the real) All-Stars. That leaves only Uchenna & Joyce left for that task.

Doesn't it have something to do with having to row a boat out onto the reflecting pool from the park to the palace?

I was trying to find out what the unaired RB in S10 leg 7 as I just watched the episode and found it in the archives of RRF, luckily! I had no idea it was sea kayaking! However, there were videos of Kandice doing the Roadblock posted by Isabella on Photobucket with links in the thread, however, every link I found for it brought up a 404 error or took me to some blog that said I didn't have access to this page and hadn't been updated since Survivor 23 was coming out (2011), and I know these videos are most 12 years old, so I get that it's probably difficult to find these videos, however, if anyone has these videos available for me to watch I would be so appreciate of it!

I somehow doubt the entire Roadblock was nothing more than "row a boat across a pond"...

This sounds like Bindles' challenge guide. Whenever I can't think of a specific piece of unaired info from TAR, Survivor, or The Mole for all of the international versions of each of those shows, I always refer to Bindles' challenge guide or just ask him directly. He has a really good memory and does really good research.
I have been to 63 countries. I have met Phil Keoghan, Jon Montgomery, Allan Wu, Elise and Bertram in person. I visited Joe & Bill in Hawaii, JK & Mike in Singapore, and Rovilson in Manila. I attended the TAR 28, 29, and 34 finales.

There are two unaired bits from TAR Canada 1 that amuses me to this day.

a) The unaired Fast Forward from the legendary Saskatchewan leg where teams had to do a police car simulation. Hal Johnson told me every team tried to do it but everyone failed. I can't recall another time where every team attempted a Fast Forward but couldn't do it. Production likely thought it was best to sweep that one under the rug.

b) The unaired U-Turn from the Final 4 NEL. All four teams could do basic math and knew it had to be a NEL. Everyone agreed not to use it as it would just be a pointless move to upset everyone, and therefore it went unused. I love it when contestants can quickly outwit Production like that.

Note: Apparently the same guy who took over all of the reality TV Wikipedia pages for the US version of these shows is removing a lot of the unaired content references. I just noticed he removed the reference to the unaired The Save twist from TAR 26. Thank goodness for Wikia. I think he just enjoys going out of his way to piss everyone off.

Well, that's one heck of a Mandela Effect I imposed upon myself over the past ten years. Did I mention this was the very first season I originally podcasted ten years ago? I think I just lost ten points for Gryffindor.

I don’t think this has been mentioned in this thread yet: an unaired challenge from the Bahrain leg on TAR30 where teams had to answer questions while standing on the plank of a ship; wrong answers would mean the team has to jump off the plank into the water!

Uchenna messaged me back to say that Joyce did this task. All the mysteries for unaired tasks is resolved for the real All-Stars season!

I got confirmation directly from Bill that Joe did the unaired Roadblock in the first Poland leg of (the real) All-Stars. That leaves only Uchenna & Joyce left for that task.

I found this episode's old thread but still couldn't resolve the Roadblock mystery.

https://forum.realityfanforum.com/index.php/topic,10907.150.html

Season 10, Leg 7 (Mauritius): Roadblock was present, but unknown.

This was fully explained somewhere in the threads here, Lyn kindly gave us all the details.

Karli has said she likely performed the unaired Roadblock in Leg 8 of TAR 5. The sisters also alternated doing Roadblocks.
