Pass on the FANTASY games as well - when I see "Fantasy", I can't help but think of Dungeon & Dragons cards, zit-faced losers in pointy hats and whatnot. I mean, I admit I'm a major dork, not just that kind 
If I were you, I would go READ some of the old games and see what you are talking about.
Most of these games are as close to running the race as you get from a computer...tough, fun, thought-provoking, and very challenging!! The locations and tasks are outstanding.
So you might want to do a little research before you write off a whole game board.
Why don't you ask redwings what he thinks? He is nearly spoiler free himself so his game may be pretty safe for you..again, asking is a good thing.
