Although I answered "active routemarker" I agree it's closer to the RB, since they never got a clue saying ride an elephant. Their clue just said take local transportation.

I chose active routemarker and think that the way they edited it, the elephant riding is part of the Roadblock.

To me, it's actually not a task at all it is more like a taxi or the boats from last time.
Physics alone is not enough.

Those who forget history are sure to repeat it.

NOTE:

Transportation between one part of the race to another part of the race will be consider general travel and not a task.

Last episode is was travel from the road to the roadblock, and back.

Do you mean the go pay your driver thing??

No penalties I don't think....as in no one had to go sit aside at the mat and wait out a 20-30 min penalty.

Going back to pay your driver isn't a penalty, they all know it is an established EXPECTATION.

Unless I am totally blocking something else,

Thats one of four things.  And I really need to see if that came up in any other episode this season when a team had to go back and do anything.

Okay, I've gone back and relooked at this one. I don't get it. To me, the term carrying refers to teams actually lifting and walking the beds, so I'm using the placement of teams when they reach the sign telling them that the vehicles must stop.  Justin & Jennifer arrive first, Jeremy & Sandi 2nd and Bill & Cathi in 4th ( if you watch closely we see them start carrying the beds themselves before Ernie & Cindy, so that makes them start in 4th). Both Justin & Jennifer and Bill & Cathi go back to pay their truck driver. You're saying Justin & Jennifer lose one spot, which must mean you're including them having to pay their truck driver. But if you're counting Justin & Jennifer being turned back and having to pay their truck driver then wouldn't the answer be Bill and Cathi then? They lost two spots as opposed to Justin & Jennifer losing one for this.

Ultimately, I think that paying their driver shouldn't be counted as part of the task. The task was to carry the bed to the pitstop and that's exactly what those two teams did, regardless of whether they paid their driver. Thus I believe Justin & Jennifer finished in the same position and Bill & Cathi climbed one place. If this is the case, then I think by your notes that the answer should be Jeremy & Sandy, but in either case "More than one team" isn't the right answer. But jsyk, I actually think Ernie and Cindy get passed by both Laurence & Zac and Bill & Cathi, which makes them lose the most places if you include the money problems.

Okay, so in summary I think there's two ways you can look at this:

Money problems counted in task  - Bill & Cathi, if you watch closely we see them start carrying the beds themselves before Ernie & Cindy, so that makes them start in 4th. They then drop to sixth because of the money, two places.

Money problems not counted in task  - Ernie & Cindy, passed by Laurence & Zac and Bill & Cathi, a drop of two places.

That's another one, there are three ways of looking at it, I did the broadest.

1.  That's from them starting the task, where we do see them having to lift the frames into trucks to completion of the full task, including paying for said transport to carry the beds.

2.  Counting again from the start of them moving the bed to the end end point, and not considering paying their fair.

3.  Counting only the last stage of moving the beds ( the long walk) to dropping the beds off.

I am not really leaning to the third option as teams both physically and through transportation carry the beds earlier than that.

I'll agree, that the task did start at the furniture shop, I was just going off the term carry and agree with you that teams did carry the beds into the trucks. But I don't think the money was part of the task, the task was to carry and transport the beds to the mat. Justin & Jennifer and Bill & Cathi did this - it's not like they completed the task incorrectly, they just failed to pay their driver which to me isn't part of carrying the beds, just a general part of the race.

They didn't do it correctly, so they cannot check-in. Because they did not "finish the task" correctly, they're denied to check-in... so I'm leaning more to mswood's analysis.

Ovalrange

I am sticking with my original post starting with getting beds, and successfully completing that general task (which includes settling any debt you incur).

I would love not to as I certainly didn't pick more then one team, for any answer where it applied.  But  the race itself does tend to count settling debts as part of successfully completely whatever task they incur debts in.

NOTE:  I Want to apologize for this year's game.  I am just starting my sixth week of working 6 to 7 days a week and usually 10 hours a day.

I have been so tired, I haven't been able to do this game like I would like, and it really hasn't been fair to you guys and gals.

Questions for Week 7 will be up tomorrow morning (or noonish for the East coast of the US.

This week also (for most of the US) features Daylights Savings Time, and we will fall back (Thank GOD another Hours Sleep!!!!!!!).  I don't remember how the game clock handles this, but to manage it, I will be watching the game to make sure it closes when it should.
