I'm having second thoughts about this team... Gary and Mallory made it all the way and did well the second time.. and they're not even an all-male team.

So i'm thinking this team will be doing really well and win a few legs.

My pick for the final 6/7.. but i've got a feeling somewhere they'll meet a problem and not make it till the end. Final 4? I don't know... :duno:

Another below 21 exception for the semi famous? But I would say they make it to the final. (spec/prediction)

I'm a little upset about that, but at least he's done something notable that's related to travel. In my opinion, saying something stupid or making stupid videos don't count as something notable.

Yeah, I guess he has proven himself to be a strong competitor regardless of his age. I still think they should lower the age limit for all nineteen-year-olds, though.

I've followed this story from the beginning and to see this family come to us is going to be great for TAR :wohoo:

He was referring to Caite(from Brent & Caite) as saying something "stupid".

I look forward to seeing this team race!!

I also have no issues with Zac being under the age limit based on what he's accomplished. The team really embodies what the race is about. I'll be rooting for them to make the final 3.

But according to some officials she did it wrong (or something) so it didn't count.  :(

We've not gotten much background on a lot of the teams unless they've been in the public eye in the past, so it's hard to say that this might be the most prepared team this season for international travel and adventure; but given dad lived in Australia and then the UK before the US, and son visited 14 countries in his solo voyage, then ought to be quite competitve this season.

Does anyone know Laurence's nationality? I know the AR says competitors have to be US citizens, but they also have a minimum age, and that rule has clearly been bent... also, on a different note, I have heard that family members of former contestants are not allowed on the show.... so how did Russell's nephew get on Survivor?

Laurence and Zac are both US citizens. Age rules were bent for Caite and KevJumba as well, nothing new.

I am not aware of any rules against family members.

Bottom line? Their game, their rules!

Zac got it right, though. Laurence does have a stubborn streak that had cost the team time more than once in this Race already.

I suspect that if this team does not make final three, it will be due to Laurence being stubborn once too often.

They should be easily one of the top two teams to beat by now. Hopefully they got their Ron/Chris moment (the S12 one) out of the way by now, or they would seriously face elimination...
