I'm also cooking up a special tribute to amazing race 19 as a celebration of the end of a great season and the 10th year of The Amazing Race. This special will be available after the finale, there's a hint of what it'll be in past post, try to guess what it might be.

darn it, you guessed what my tribute was. I couldn't do it after episode 1 because of, well, school work (seriously you would not believe how much I had of it) I'll complete them after the finale airs. So it'll be a collection of still of the best moments of each episode from episode 2 to 12. I plan to continue this photojournal after my christmas break starts

From the first moment we saw her with her daughter

and watching them both start a race around the world

Nancy and Emily became one of the most well liked team on the Amazing Race

Through hardships...

and high moments...

Nancy's adoration of her daughter was always evident

They lasted much longer than anyone could have imagined and sadly, were eliminated in Thailand

On December 9, 2011. Nancy Hoyt passed away, now we honor her memory

thanks, this is definitely a sad week for TAR fans, we've lost our original (and best) race mom. Nancy you will be missed. I'm glad I did the tribute even if I don't know her personally, I think watching her and her daughter on the first season is enough, she's a great person.

this rlly upsets me. even though i started watchin at season 7. this was my "first team" one of my best memories of her is probably when they were in milan (i think) going on the train and nancy was waiting with kevin (?) by the phone while lenny and karyn and drew were holding up the train... and kevins trying to get a flight info booked.. and all of a sudden nancy is like get a confirmation number. they were a very strong team. infact they woulda been first f/f team in f3. if it wasnt for a poor detour choice.... another highlight was when they were india and the key was agra... nancy was so paient... im still in shock.. at least shes up there with margaretta (of dave and margetta) in finish line heaven (Corny ik)
