Here is another spotting in Budapest from this blogger:

Looks like she may have caught them doing post race interviews.

There is a pic here of the Uturn!!! :o
Great find!
Maybe someone who's hebrew is better than mine can read the names on the U-Turn!

OMG they are just giving it away :) we got our finale 7 :P

It's a regular U-turn. The guy is the new host (The the husband of season 1 runner-up Maya). It's hard to read the names... looks like team 1 (I think it's them... some of the letters on the name don't add up but it's hard to see), 2, 3, 4, 5 from my last post, another unknown team (the guy look older) and I think the second pic from the right are the two blondes but I am not really certin.

I'm bound to have missed something, so any help piecing this together would be greatly appreciated

So are things looking like this?

Route: Budapest (1st/2nd Apr.) --> Dubrovnik (6/7th Apr.) --> Krakow (8th Apr.)? Somewhere in there we also may have a visit to Pilisvörösvár, Hungary

And the follow tasks/locations:

Pilisvörösvár, Hungary ??? (Is this another leg ??? Visited before or after Budapest leg?)

Budapest Hungary:
Locations:
Day 1 (Presumed 1st April) : Boraros Square, the Széchenyi Bath
Day 2 (Presumed 2nd April): Museum of Fine Arts, Subway train 3 – on Nagy Lajos? - blue team seen at 0230 p.m, synagogue, Gödör [club] at Deák Square

Tasks:

Széchenyi Bath – Solve rubiks cube – last team (M/M?) finishes at 1.30am
Roadblock at Gödör, Deak Square - Break ice to receive clue inside.

Post leg confessions at a palace. Possible pitstop? ???
Pitstop hotel?:  Courtyard Marriott at Blaha Lujza Square.

Dubrovnik, Croatia:
Tasks:
Climb the city wall
Roadblock? - Eat 5kg of cake with hands behind back

Krakow, Poland:
Locations: the international airport of Balice, Main Market in Kraków, ul. Broad School of Ballet. St. Paul 's. Tomé 37, ul. Bulwary wiślane Grodzka, in the vicinity of the Dragon wawelskiego, main railway station PKP and salt mine in Wieliczka. (Anyone want to help decipher these?)

Tasks: With locals, squeeze into mini car - Main Market Square.

U-turn somewhere after car task?

Post leg confessions at a palace. Possible pitstop? ???
Pitstop hotel?:  Courtyard Marriott at Blaha Lujza Square.

The "confession" is called testimony, It's done for about 90 minutes immediately after team is finishing a leg. The testimony might be done in a quiet place near the pit stop but usually in a hotel where teams are resting before launching to a new leg.

The site in the picture is 100% the pit stop. this is the only reason for the production to install lighting, boom camera and flags.

It looks like the mission was to choose X suckers from the crowd that will help carry the car for short distance and then squeeze them all in the car (Fiat 500)

From google's horrible translation of this article first posted by E-K-ISR, I've been able to decipher some goodies  :yess:

The article, dated 6th April 2011, states the race began on Thursday which would give us a start date of 31st of March.

Secondly, it lists Hungary as the first destination (which fits in with our dates) and says the race will last for 28 days. This means we're close to the midpoint of the race, with 18 days to go.

Also, remember how last season the race started at the airport? Is it possible they'll do that again, as the article says:

Quote
Last week, program participants rushed from Ben Gurion airport.

Wasn't there something about them being unable to film in Israel except for in the airport? It makes me wonder if it would happen again.

Finally, it says the show may premiere in October with a finale in January of 2012.

There's a heck of a lot of info about contestants which google doesn't translate properly. If any Hebrew speaks could help, that would be great  :<3

Sure I can, sorry because there was bad storm yesterday and two days ago in Virginia and I had no power, but going back to the article ovalorange got the locations right and the rest of he article explains what "The Amazing Race" is and that Krakow Film Commission was responsible for permission to do all the tasks.

We have them again, they're in Thailand!  :wohoo:

http://mywildplanet.blogspot.com/2011/04/amazing-race-israel-comes-to-thailand.html

Five teams left, came in from China :)

Quote
The Amazing Race Israel comes to Thailand

On the final day of the Songkran New Year festival Wild Planet And Planet Scuba teamed up for one of reality tv’s well known programmes. The Amazing Race is a global competition where teams of two compete for a large sum of cash. They race around the world completing tasks set by the organisers and also the daily challenges faced by world travel with no budget! We were asked to assist in one of those tasks, doing something for us which comes naturally these days – Diving with Sharks !!

The race was already underway and by the time they reached Thailand there would only be 5 teams left in the running. They were flying in from China on separate flights and would then have to make their way to Siam Ocean World at the Paragon shopping centre. Hopefully their chosen mode of transport wouldn’t attempt to sell them a suit or offer them discounted gems on the way.

Their challenge involved one team member miming a famous phrase through the glass while the other was scuba diving around part of the shark tank trying to find the relevant words for that phrase. It wouldn’t have been too difficult if the contestants knew how to Scuba dive, and of course if there hadn’t been 30 sharks moving around them!

All contestants had to participate in the same safety briefing before being allowed into the water. Senior Planet Scuba Bangkok Instructor Paul ‘Popeye’ Durrell was in charge of the initial briefing on the surface and gearing up the teams. Next they were led into the shallow section of the aquarium where they met Wild Planet Manager Dave Milne. After a further briefing on safety and a run through of some important Scuba diving skills they were escorted underwater to the challenge zone. Their time limit would depend on how quickly they used the air in the tank!

All the teams managed to complete the task, although some looked far more graceful than others in doing so. For one contestant it looked as though the thought of doing underwater would be too much, but she did it. However it would have been impossible without the assistance of Dave at her side.

The final contestant finished at 11 pm and it was time to let the fish sleep. Where the contestants got to sleep is a mystery only to be solved when the program goes live.

On the final day of the Songkran New Year festival

That should have been April 16 I think.

So if this was an elimination, they could be at the Finale by now.... or almost there!!!

I think the finale is due on the 27th? ??? 28 days + a start date on the 31st of March = a final leg held on the 27th, correct?
