I know I read about the cameraman/sound person in several posts, but I was wondering how they manage taxi's? In the early races when FERNS were allowed, did they actually have 4 people in the back seat?

I don't know about the very few times when FERNS were involved, but the general rule for regular taxis (not motor rickshaws or smaller vehicles like that) is:
the cameraman sits in the front seat so he can film face-on
the sound guy in the open seat next to the team member who will be in the middle of the back seat

On rare occasions (because the WRP camera/sound crews are so good at it) you catch a fleeting glimpse of a small part of the sound guy in the frame.

Eat, Sleep, Mingle. It means scenes where teams are doing this sort of thing instead of racing.

To me the main purpose of ESM were eating, sleeping and socialization (during which friendships such as Eric and Danielle were initially formed).

I can't find the post I thought I read about this, but I think it was said that the Express Pass allows you to SKIP one task, while the Fast Forward is earned by COMPLETING a specific task. If you use the pass to SKIP the detour, you haven't COMPLETED the detour, but you can move forward as if you have. So, I think the answer is no.

The express pass was introduced in Season 17, after Luke's 1st season, but before Unfinished Business.

Not knocking Luke, but personally, I would want to know exactly what the little white sheet of paper says that comes with the EP..........so Jill/Thomas, Gary/Mallory, Ernie/Cindy or Rachel/Dave would be the best sources.......along with the Producers.....but they don't talk much.

Plus, the circumstances at which it can be used might have changed from season to season too.

I believe the Express Pass can be used to SKIP any TASK. Even if Mika had to use the EP to bypass the water slide task, it would have been possible despite it being neither a Detour/Roadblock... I think.

They didn't have any fast forwards on TAR 18, so there's no reason why Luke (or anyone from that season) would know the rules about using the EP on a FF.

I'm pretty sure they give the racers a briefing of the rules before the Race begins..(even if they're racing for a second time)
Considering that they introduce new rules every now and then, they must have explained what the Express Pass was for and the instances where you could've use it.

Why not... because Phil said, ANY TASK you don't wish to complete. So let's just say in the scenario where Dave and Rachel and Joey and Danny were fighting for the FF in TAR 20 and they still have the EP, I'm pretty sure they can just use it and claim the FF? I don't know about this but I believe I take Phil's words seriously LOL
