I so wanted Brooke and Claire (hope for another season that can feature them)
I guess Ken and Tina Broke up again. Toni was too old and don't want to. Starr and Nc won
others weren't memorable . The college boys were funny ' Maria sharapova? Annna kourilova lol

Umm..as far as I know, Ken & Tina are still together!

Good thing I guess they broken up, but good to know they are still together

Does anyone have a link for the Season 18 "announcement"? It didn't appear on the iTunes episode.

For the last 2 hours I have been researching all routes from GIG, GRU, EZE, SCL and LIM (the largest airports in South America) into Miami, Atlanta, Charlotte, Washington-Dulles and JFK. My conclusion was that it was impossible to get form Rio starting at midnight at reported in a Tweet to GRU in time to get either of these flight schedules:

AA998 0110 0630  actual dep. 1043 9.6 hours late , arrival expected 1547 9.3 hours late
AA930 0205 0735  actual dep. 0336 2.5 hours late,  arrival 0936 2 hours late

The latest connecting flight from Rio was:
G31631 GIG GRU 2230 0001+1

So, how is it possible to teams to be spotted at that hotel at midnight and get to Sao Paulo airport within one to two hours. Inquiring minds want to know. The most obvious explanation is that the timing of the Tweet was off  by a few hours.

I'm not sure [apskip] meant it that way. Can't speak for him though. For me, I am happy that Claire is expecting her first child. However, I'm saddened that the race is being taped while she's pregnant.  Even if TAR18 had started taping in March after she delivered, she'd still be unavailable.

So yes, it's a shame that they would have made it (which could have meant no Jaime/Cara) but IMO, family is more important than any race.  No one knew that this year was going to feature a return of past racers, and there's no guarantee that Brook/Claire would have been selected to return.

Thank you for putting it in the right context!

USoccer... thats just so wrong to say.  Anyways, other websites are posting that Brook and Claire and Team Jumba may be back for this season!  It's funny cause we know that they arent!... Unless there was a pre starting line elimination.

The only explanation for the no sightings is there must have been a sighting if you get what I am saying.

No, I don't get what you are saying.

No, I don't get what you are saying.

I guess that means there was a sighting, but you won't see it here because maybe there's too much info in it that would disclose the end of the race.  Either that, or there was a sighting, but the people that have that information will get to posting it if and when necessary.

I think he will be able to read it with a smile on his face. He knows he lost the race 2 years ago and he beat himself up over it... but that didn't keep him from bragging about the race for a long while... and now he got another shot at it! His to win now! Just think what the odds are for any regular person to make it on the Race, TWICE! He can consider himself to be one of the luckiest people (in TAR fan terms anyways).
