Okay - speculation is that their is a flight attendant team. Apparently Jenny and Erin on the promo shots possibly work for V Australia. Waiting for confirmation - will let you know

Thanks Heather. Jenny and Erin being on the race is only spec at the moment as Channel 7 may have used other finalists on their pilot promo instead of the actual final teams. From the photos so far I can't really see any all female darker haired team, but then again we only have far off photos from the starting line.

Keep on looking! Can't be long now till Channel 7 have a promo out. They are already adverising some other shows for next season. Just depends if they will show it early or late 2011.

New info: Based on the information about Erin Mcnaught's boyfriend, Nathan Jolliffe, I  have updated the contestant summary.

I believe they are the team in front of the intersection in Johannesburg, based on the media speculation that his teammate is fellow model Tyler Atkins.

In Johannesburg (15/11)


Unknown team, at least one male. UPDATE: I suspect this team to be Nathan Jolliffe and his partner, currently believed to be Tyler Atkins.

They may also know eachother from the model circuit, but the evidence is starting to pile up. I imagine a cast release will be coming within the next few months, probably as TAR 18 wraps up.

The pair's mix of brains and brawn created a formidable team, in what Schoers describes as "the ride of a lifetime".

The Amazing Race Australia is expected to screen later this month.

The first few posts in this thread have been reorganised and cleaned up to remove duplicate information.

The first post is now the contestant list with the ongoing updates.
The second post is now ungrouped sightings in which a team cannot be confirmed. These should be in chronological order.
The third post is saved for conclusions that we can draw from interviews and other media. (Eg- "Siberia was cold")
The fourth post holds the teams NOT racing, but appeared in the promotional footage released by Seven.

If anyone spots any errors in the posts, let me know and I will fix them.

Timeline has been updated with team info except I cannot decipher between two of the couples! Help would be appreciated to track down sightings and cross reference!
