Here's a preliminary Shanghai map. Feel free to flame any mistakes. I centered the pins using satellite view; when you switch to map view, the pins move to right somewhat.

Here's an interactive Shanghai metro map. The editors would have us think the cowboys (and maybe the other teams) took the elevated Line 3 out of Hongkou. Maybe they did, but it would have meant an extra 15-30 minutes to connect to Line 2 (direct to pitstop). Taking the underground Line 8 would have been faster.

I'm sure the cowboys and the models took the underground Line 8 (according to the colour of the subway)

They say the museum is 5 stops away (which makes sense if they are at the Line 8 interchange), so yeah they took Line 8.
