11.Unknown place

I think this is Teatro Bastion del Carmen in Colonia del Sacramento, Uruguay:

And this one:

...is Igreja de Nosso Senhor do Bonfim in Salvador, Brazil.

Thanks a lot for investigating, i didn't saw that picture of the church in Salvador, it probably appeared when the pictures were shown faster.

Yeah, when the images go faster you can see an image of downtown Santiago and La Moneda, and they repeat some of the others like the Valley of the Moon.

I'm bored so i want to do some speculation.  :duno:

http://impreso.milenio.com/node/9029824

Rick says:

"At some point, one challenge with heights scared me because i have acrophobia, but at that moment i had to overcome that fear because you have the pressure of other team coming right behind you."

We know there was a challenge with heights in Sao Paulo, could Rick and Kathy be in the final 3?

What do you think?

I think there will be many heights challenges along the race, i don't think he is specifically talking about Sao Paulo leg, but we know for sure they made final 4. So there is a big possibility that they made it to the final leg.

I would say yes, they are one of the Final 3 teams!

WHAT DO YOU THINK? WAS BOGOTA, COLOMBIA VISITED THIS SEASON OR THOSE IMAGES ARE FROM PAST SEASON? I WOULD SAY MEXICO WAS NOT VISITED, BECAUSE IT IS TOO FAR AWAY TO FIT IN THE TIMELINE.

In TARLA 1 i remeber 4 challenges with heights, one in the first leg in Foz de Iguazu, one in Cuzco, one in Bogota and one in Cancun. In TARLA 2 i only remeber the one in Rio de Janeiro.

TARLA loves to do a lot of eating challenges and tasks with animals.  :lol3:. But i think this challenge in Sao Paulo was really big so i say if we don't see any challenge with heights in Argentina, Uruguay or Chile, Rick and Kathy are in the final 3 and in that challenge they are not in last place.

Yeah, TARLA loves heights, food and animals. And i would say Ricky & Kathy are for sure in Brazil. Also, the Santo Domingo square in Mexico city is a new location, could Mexico have been visited too?

You know i actually think it could be but i have 2 problems:

1- when did that happen?
2- they used mexico city for the finale in TARLA 1

For the first question i really don't know what to say, could it be before Brazil?

For the second one, i think Buenos Aires is clearly a location for this season and was used for TARLA 1 too so it's not impossible to think about a mexico city leg. Maybe in mexico city there was only one task or only one route marker and the rest of the leg was in other area.

Bottom line, i think it's possible.

Yeah, i see more possibilities of Bogota being visited rather than Mexico, because it fit between Ecuador and Salvador, but i don't know about Mexico, we know for sure Brazil is the final destination? Could it be Mexico? Don't know, there are many doubts that are ready to be solved starting this Sunday!

CAN'T WAIT FOR THE SEASON PREMIERE!

I really don't think they are visting Bogota this time (for a third time?), and i really don't think they are using Colombia at all. But you never know, we didin't get any sightings from Colombia, Mexico or Ecuador (and we are considering Ecuador as a destination).

AND THEY ARE NOT TELLING THE STARTING LINE OR THE FIRST DESTINATION.

We are not going to be 100% about the starting line until the premiere.  :'(

But i think with the intro in our hands we are gonna have a lot of material to predict the rest of the route.

I can't wait  :groan:

 :hearts: Piñatas

Anyway, my opinion is that if they went to Mexico i'm sure there would be some sighting from there, i mean, we found tweets from the atacama desert, why not in Mexico where there's people everywhere. And i'm not completely sure if Brazil was the final destination but i really can't see any other option. I don't believe the Paraguay info AT ALL.

:keeta: Tomorrow will be a big night with TAR 19 and TARLA, we will be analyzing every shot from the intro and the promo for the second episode.

My bet for tomorrow: it's NEL (again).

Look at this:

http://www.elespectador.com/impreso/cultura/gente/articulo-301579-una-voragine-de-sentimientos-y-deportes-extremos

In one of the questions Harris says that they went by bus to El Calafate and Perito Moreno in a 36 hours ride. (do you remember that for one of his tweets?)

Now i'm sure, the starting line is Perito Moreno.

Yeah it has to be, or it could have been in Buenos Aires and they had to travel by bus to their next destination, El Calafate.

I don't have the link right now but i remember that Harris says in that tweet "we are going to the starting point, etc...". So i would say El Calafate is first and then they went back to Buenos Aires. Unless Harris was lying to us which i highly doubt.

Mmmm, yes you're right, i remember them saying that they were on their way to the starting point, so it has to be Calafate.

I would say first leg is a NON ELIMINATION! And i would say that if Ale & Eze are one of the first 2 teams eliminated, they were probably the last team in leg 1 and had to complete the speed bump, because it is really weird that a team gets eliminated in their own country, but it has happened in the past (Nora & Ariel, Diego & Miguel, don't know who else)

This was in the other thread

Look at this, i'ts interesting:

http://www.lapatilla.com/site/2011/09/23/22-personas-comienzan-un-extremo-periplo-por-latinoamerica-en-the-amazing-race/

It says that the distance traveled from the starting line to the finish line is 11.000 km.

If that's the case i don't think we are going to see Central America or Mexico this season.

But in this publication: http://impreso.milenio.com/node/9029824

it says 23.000 kilometres and 11 cities visited, which one do we have to trust?

Also, we should talk about it on the Spoilers page, and talk only about what we see on TV  in this page!
Yeh it could be a confusion. I think with the first episode we are going to have an answer.
